Lightroom Photo Editor for Weddings, Proposals & Portraits - Ongoing Work
Worldwide
Lightroom Photo Editor for Weddings, Proposals & Portraits — Ongoing Work I'm a professional photographer and filmmaker based in the Caribbean looking for a reliable Lightroom photo editor for an ongoing working relationship. I photograph weddings, engagements, proposals and portraits, primarily in tropical outdoor environments. I'm looking for someone who can learn and consistently match my existing editing style, rather than impose a preset or their own aesthetic. My Style My work generally features: Rich, natural colour Warm, accurate skin tones across a range of complexions Deep, lush greens without making them fluorescent Strong but natural contrast Clean whites and controlled highlights Natural-looking skin rather than excessive smoothing A mix of bright tropical imagery and darker, moodier environmental portraits Consistency across an entire gallery I will provide finished reference images so you can learn the look. What I Need: Primarily Lightroom editing: White balance and exposure Colour correction/grading Contrast and tonal adjustments Skin-tone correction Highlight/shadow recovery HSL adjustments Cropping and straightening Selective masking where appropriate Noise reduction and sharpening Consistency across the complete gallery Heavy Photoshop retouching is not required for every image. More detailed work on selected hero images can be handled separately. Typical Jobs Proposal / engagement Approximately 60–100 delivered images Target editing budget: US$35–50 Wedding Approximately 250–400 delivered images Target editing budget: US$60–80 I'm open to hourly pricing initially, particularly around US$8–12/hour, but my preference is to establish fixed per-gallery rates once we've developed an efficient workflow. There is potential for regular ongoing work for the right person. Paid Test: I plan to select approximately 3 candidates for a paid 10–12 image test. Everyone will receive the same RAW files and reference images. The test will include different lighting situations and skin tones, including tropical daylight, greenery, difficult highlights and moodier environmental photographs. I'm primarily evaluating: 1. Skin tones 2. Ability to match my existing colour/style 3. Exposure and tonality 4. Consistency between images 5. Attention to detail 6. Communication and turnaround Workflow You should be comfortable working with RAW files and Adobe Lightroom Classic. Ideally, you should also be comfortable working with Lightroom catalogs/Smart Previews and returning your Lightroom edits rather than only exported JPEGs. When Applying Please send: Examples of weddings, engagements or portraits you've personally edited Examples featuring darker skin tones, if available Examples photographed outdoors or in green/tropical environments, if available Your normal hourly rate Your approximate price for editing an 80-image engagement gallery Your approximate price for editing a 300-image wedding gallery Your usual turnaround time Whether you work in Lightroom Classic and can return Lightroom catalogs/XMP edits I'm not looking for the cheapest editor. I'm looking for good value, consistency, taste, and someone who can learn my photographic style over time.
