Logistics manager/Excel Expert

Sneaker Creatures LLC is a sneaker business looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of our inventory and sneaker-matching processes. We manage physical sneaker inventory that must be identified, organized, matched into sellable pairs, reconciled, and tracked accurately. You will manage this operation while building the spreadsheets, SOPs, reporting, and automations needed to scale it with minimal owner involvement. This is not a basic virtual-assistant or data-entry role. You must be highly skilled in Excel, comfortable working with large and imperfect datasets, and capable of independently improving complex operational processes. Responsibilities Own our sneaker inventory and matching workflow Track products by brand, model, style code, colorway, size, condition, warehouse location, and matching status Use Excel to identify potential matches and manage matched, unmatched, and exception inventory Reconcile physical warehouse inventory against digital records Find duplicates, missing products, inconsistent data, and incorrect matches Build and maintain inventory workbooks, dashboards, and reports Create SKU, labeling, bin-location, and quality-control procedures Develop SOPs, checklists, and employee training materials Manage warehouse and virtual team members involved in inventory processing Track inventory accuracy, match rates, aging inventory, errors, and employee productivity Provide concise weekly reporting and proactively resolve problems Advanced Excel requirements You must be able to demonstrate strong working knowledge of: XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, IF/IFS, and nested formulas Dynamic-array functions such as FILTER, UNIQUE, SORT, and SEQUENCE Pivot tables, pivot charts, and operational dashboards Power Query for cleaning, combining, and transforming data Conditional formatting and data validation Duplicate detection, fuzzy matching, and inventory reconciliation Working efficiently with large datasets Designing structured, dependable workbooks that other employees can use Protecting formulas and reducing opportunities for human error AI and automation We also want this person to help develop an AI-assisted operating system for Sneaker Creatures. Potential projects include: AI-assisted sneaker identification Matching inventory by style code, size, colorway, condition, and other attributes Confidence scoring and review queues for uncertain matches Automated data cleaning and product categorization Duplicate and inventory-discrepancy detection Exception alerts and inventory reconciliation Automated dashboards and management reporting An internal AI knowledge base based on our operating procedures You do not need to be a software engineer, but you must understand structured data, process design, and automation. Ideal candidate Advanced Excel expertise is required Experience managing inventory, warehouse, resale, or e-commerce operations Strong inventory-reconciliation and quality-control skills Experience with sneakers, footwear, resale, or size-based inventory is preferred Experience building operational systems, SOPs, and dashboards Hands-on familiarity with AI and automation tools Able to manage employees and hold them accountable Independent, analytical, organized, and highly detail-oriented Capable of taking an owner-dependent process and running it without constant direction This is intended to become a long-term position for the right person.
