# Logo & Brand Identity Design for Texas Heavy Civil Infrastructure Contractor ## Project Overview Savia Construction LLC is a **Texas-based heavy civil infrastructure contractor** seeking an experienced brand identity designer to develop our **primary corporate logo and visual identity**. We are an early-stage company, but our objective is to build a serious, scalable heavy civil construction company serving the Texas infrastructure market. Our work is focused around **concrete, flatwork, drainage, utilities, roadway and infrastructure construction**. We are looking for a designer who can create an identity that feels appropriate for an **established, professional heavy civil contractor**—not a residential contractor, handyman service, landscaping company, or generic construction startup. ## What We Want the Brand to Communicate The Savia Construction identity should feel: * Solid and corporate * Modern and professional * Technical and precise * Strong and reliable * Industrial and infrastructure-oriented * Scalable and appropriate for a major construction organization The identity needs to work equally well on **heavy equipment, trucks, safety vests, hard hats, jobsite signage, construction documents, proposals, website, social media, and corporate materials**. ## Logo Direction We prefer a **combination of a distinctive symbol and strong typography**. We are interested in exploring an original, abstract geometric identity influenced by concepts such as: * Structural geometry * Heavy civil infrastructure * Engineered systems * Foundations and structural strength * Precision and organization * Modular geometric forms * Long-term growth * Stability and forward movement The name **Savia** has a deeper meaning related to the lifeblood that supports growth from within a system. This concept may provide inspiration, but it should be interpreted **abstractly and structurally—not botanically**. ## What We Do NOT Want Please do not use: * Trees, leaves, branches, plants, roots or other botanical imagery * Landscaping, environmental or eco-friendly imagery * Houses, roofs or residential construction imagery * Hammers or generic construction clip art * Generic premade contractor logos * Thin or overly futuristic "tech startup" typography * Outdated 3D effects, bevels, glossy gradients or excessive effects The logo should **never be mistaken for a landscaping company, residential contractor, handyman service, or environmental company**. We want something **original, proprietary, clean, strong and timeless**. ## Scope of This Project This project is specifically for the **Savia Construction master corporate identity**. Savia may develop specialized operating divisions in the future. Those divisions will eventually inherit and adapt the Savia master identity. **Please do not design division logos as part of this project.** Our priority is to first establish an exceptional and scalable master identity for **Savia Construction**. ## Initial Deliverables We would like to see approximately **3 genuinely different initial logo concepts**, rather than many minor variations of the same idea. After selecting a direction, we expect refinement of the selected concept and final professional files suitable for print and digital applications.
