Logo plus favicon set for a small German interior finishing company

Summary

I run Renovia, a small interior finishing company in Leipzig, Germany. We lay floors, renovate apartments, work on walls and ceilings, and handle strip-out and disposal. No new-build, no shell construction, no roofing. I need a finished logo plus a favicon set for my website. Small, tightly defined package, no brand book, no mockups, no social media kit. Just the logo and the files I actually need, done properly. The design idea - A recognisable house or building, drawn as an outline rather than a solid filled shape. Not abstract geometry. - The house should show something of its interior, for example a floor surface, a room corner, an open door or a window. This is the most important point in the whole brief: it says interior finishing rather than generic construction, and it is what separates us from the thousands of building logos out there. - Two colours only: anthracite #23262b and orange #ff6a13, plus white for a reversed version. - The orange should also appear inside the wordmark, for example part of the word set in orange. - Wordmark Renovia, written in mixed case exactly like that, capital R and the rest lower case. This matches our website, so please do not set the name in all capitals. - Underneath it the German tagline INNENAUSBAU LEIPZIG, this one in capitals and letter-spaced so it reads as a label. Please do not translate the German. The tagline must be detachable so the logo also works without it. - Symbol on the left, wordmark on the right. I have already looked at very reduced, purely geometric marks and found them too plain and interchangeable. I want visible craft and a bit of detail, while it still stays legible when small. That balance is the actual task. What I do not want Gradients, drop shadows, gloss or 3D. Bundles of tools such as hammer, ruler and brush together. Purely abstract geometry such as rectangle grids, cubes or chevrons. Roofs, cranes and shell-construction imagery, they misrepresent our trade. More than two colours plus white. Script or decorative typefaces. Deliverables 1. Source file in .ai (Adobe Illustrator) or .eps, real vector, all type converted to outlines. 2. Primary lockup, symbol left and wordmark right, with and without the tagline. 3. The symbol on its own, plus a simplified version of it with fewer details and heavier strokes for small sizes. 4. Full colour, single colour black, and single colour white reversed versions. 5. SVG of the primary lockup, plus a transparent PNG at roughly 3000 px wide. 6. Favicon set built from the simplified symbol: icon.svg, favicon.ico containing 32 and 16 px, apple-touch-icon.png at exactly 180 x 180 with an opaque background and about 20 px inner padding and no rounded corners baked in, plus transparent icon-192.png and icon-512.png. Not needed, please do not price in: brand guideline documents, mockups, business cards, letterheads, social media kits, stationery, animation. Four checks that decide acceptance - Real vector. I will zoom in heavily. Auto-traced bitmaps are not acceptable. - The symbol must still be identifiable at 16 by 16 pixels. That is why the simplified version and the favicon set are on the list. - It must work in pure black and pure white. If half of it disappears when flattened to one colour, it does not work for me. - No detail thinner than 1.5 mm at 9 cm logo width, because this goes onto embroidered workwear later. Rights Exclusive, worldwide, perpetual and transferable usage rights including the right to modify, plus the open source file. The mark may later be registered as a trademark in Germany, so the transfer must cover that. No AI-generated artwork please. Under a German court ruling from February 2026, logos produced purely by image generators have no copyright protection here, which would make a trademark registration pointless. Using AI as a tool in your process is fine, but the design decisions must be yours and the file must be a genuine vector drawing, not an auto-traced bitmap. Process Step 1: two or three concept directions, rough black and white is fine. Step 2: I pick one, you refine it, two rounds of revisions. Step 3: all final files. Two weeks is fine, I am not in a rush. Budget My budget is USD 50 for this package. I know that is at the low end. If your price for exactly this scope is different, tell me your number and what it covers and I will consider it. I would rather pay a fair price to someone good than get something cheap I cannot use. To apply Send me two or three logos you designed for real paying clients, not portfolio mockups, and one sentence on how you would show interior work rather than generic construction. I will send you a short 3-page brief with reference images once we start. If this goes well there is follow-on work: workwear artwork for print and embroidery, van lettering and a short brand guide. I would rather build that with one designer than with five.
