Long-Form Video Editor — SMB Deal Hunter (YouTube + Newsletter) We're hiring video editors to join SMB Deal Hunter, a YouTube channel and 200K-subscriber newsletter for people who are done working for someone else and ready to buy a business of their own. Our community has closed over $200M in deals. Every week we interview someone from that community who actually did it, and we produce educational videos on how to buy a business. You'll work in two formats: Long-form interviews: cutting 30 minutes to 2 hours of raw footage into a tight, podcast-style edit. 10-minute educational videos: high-retention animation over voiceover, not stock footage filler. Volume is 4 to 8 videos per month. Turnaround is 2 to 5 days, revisions included. We want editors who love business and storytelling and can hook smart professionals in the first 10 seconds. Ideal candidate: Has cut long-form YouTube content for a real channel Genuinely interested in business (you'll be living in this footage) Knows which 90 seconds of a 90-minute interview actually matter Can do real animation, not stock B-roll Scrappy, fast, and nails revisions the first time Requirements: Premiere Pro & After Effects Fluent English Available during U.S. Eastern Time hours Open to a paid trial before going full-time Rate: $250 to $3,000 per month, depending on length and scope.
