Long-Term AutoCAD Draftsman / Stone Facade Cladding Specialist (Ongoing Projects)

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled, efficient AutoCAD draftsman for a long-term partnership. We frequently handle residential and commercial builds requiring precise natural stone facade cladding layout plans. We need an expert who can independently take our raw DWG files and produce clean, production-ready stone shop drawings for our installers. Our current project is a ~300 m² family home facade, with many more projects to follow for the right freelancer. Key Responsibilities: Clean up provided DWG files (remove clutter, manage layers, prepare elevations). Analyze elevation drawings to determine the optimal tile dimensions and laying pattern (balancing material efficiency/minimal waste with maximum aesthetic appeal). Draft precise stone cladding layouts, expertly resolving corners, window sills, doors, and complex geometric details. Add essential installation dimensions and grid references for field teams. Deliver clean, ready-to-print PDFs alongside organized source DWG files for every project. What We Provide: Clean base DWG files (floor plans and facade elevations). Project requirements and material preferences. What We Expect from You: Deep experience in architectural drafting—specifically facade shop drawings, masonry, or stone cladding. The autonomy to make smart, professional design decisions regarding joint placements, tile sizing, and pattern layouts without needing micro-management. High efficiency (able to execute typical residential facade layouts in a matter of hours). Consistency, clear communication, and interest in an ongoing workflow. Project Type: Fixed-Price per project (starting with our first ~300 m² residential build). Budget: Open to competitive quotes for this first test project and ongoing rate proposals.
