**NOT LOOKING TO HIRE AGENCY! LOOKING FOR A FULL TIME EMPLOYEE** About the project: BirdieGrow is a booking + membership platform for indoor golf simulator venues, shipping features weekly. We're looking for a long-term contract engineer to join the core team and own real product domains — mobile app, native Windows agent, leagues system, ongoing platform improvements. This is an ongoing engagement, not a one-off project. Expect 30–40 hrs/week of consistent work across the next 12+ months, with scope growing as the platform scales. What you'll work on in 2026: Ship our master mobile app to Apple App Store + Google Play via Capacitor Ship white-labeled client apps on both stores (per-venue branded shells on the same Capacitor foundation) Continue development of our native Windows agent (Rust/Tauri) — session lifecycle, sim + launch monitor integrations, installer hardening Build out the leagues system — flex-hours mode, roster invite flow, league-specific reporting, tournament API integrations Ongoing platform work — real customer feature requests, bug fixes, performance improvements Required: 5+ years full-stack TypeScript + React Strong Supabase / Postgres experience (RLS, edge functions, migrations) Shipped at least one live app on both Apple App Store and Google Play Store end-to-end Production Capacitor experience — native bridges, plugin config, iOS + Android build pipelines, deep links, push notifications Experience building or extending a league / tournament / scheduling system Shipped in a booking, marketplace, hospitality, or vertical SaaS product before Comfortable with AI-native dev workflow (Lovable, Cursor, Claude Code) US-based, US timezone, fluent English Independent — pick up a bug, diagnose it, ship a fix without hand-holding Nice to have: Rust / Tauri for Windows agent work Capacitor Live Updates / CodePush experience Familiarity with App Store / Play Store review appeal processes and TestFlight Experience in golf, fitness, or small-business SaaS Compensation: Hourly contract via Upwork. Rate negotiable based on experience and portfolio. Performance bonuses available on shipped milestones. Expected commitment: 30–40 hrs/week, ongoing. Long-term engagement — we're looking for someone who can grow with the platform over 12+ months, not a quick project engineer. How to apply: Reply with: Your GitHub (or a code sample of something you shipped end-to-end) Links to at least one live app you've launched (App Store + Play Store URLs) One paragraph on the most complex bug or feature you've owned in a booking / league / SaaS context Walk me through your last app store submission — what rejected you first time, how you fixed it Your Upwork hourly rate + earliest start date Skip cover letter templates. If your reply looks AI-generated with no signal, I won't respond. Strong applications get a response within 24 hours and a 30-min intro call this week.
