Summary

We are looking for a reliable and dedicated video editor to join our team for consistent, long-term work editing product review and educational videos. This is not a one-time project. If you consistently produce good-quality work, follow instructions, and meet deadlines, you can expect to receive batches of approximately 25 videos at a time, with the opportunity to edit up to 50 videos per month. We expect this project to continue for the next 3–4 years, so we are looking for someone who would like to grow with us and become a regular part of our content production team. What You Will Receive For each video, we will provide you with: The completed script The raw talking-head video recording, including the presenter’s audio Any specific instructions needed for that video Your job is to take the raw recording and turn it into a polished, helpful, and enjoyable final video. This will involve editing the talking-head footage and adding relevant elements where appropriate, such as: Images B-roll Simple graphics and visual elements On-screen text where helpful Other visuals that help explain what the presenter is discussing and keep the video engaging These are primarily educational product review and buying-guide videos, so the editing should support the information being presented rather than distract from it. Now , Hold on , here is a bit about me before you get to the rest of this job post . Hello, I’m Mike and so , why should you work with me? Over the last 10 years, I’ve worked with more than 800 freelancers and agencies across many different projects, including a large amount of video and content work. I know that finding a good client is just as important as finding a good freelancer, so here are a few things you can expect when working with me: I’m looking for a long-term working relationship. I don’t want to hire a new editor every few weeks. If we work well together and you consistently deliver good work, my goal is to keep working with you for years. There is consistent work available. We have a large amount of content to produce, and the right editor can expect regular batches of work every month. You don’t need to be the most experienced editor. I care much more about reliability, dedication, willingness to learn, ability to follow instructions, and genuinely caring about the quality of your work. I’m very hands-on and supportive. I provide clear instructions, examples, and feedback so that you understand exactly what we are looking for. If something isn't clear, you can always ask. I’m highly communicative and available. You won’t be left waiting for days when you need clarification or feedback. Good communication is extremely important to me. I respect the people I work with. If you take the work seriously and give me your best effort, I will give you the same level of commitment and professionalism in return. You can also take a look at my Upwork feedback to see the experiences other freelancers have had working with me. I’m reliable. When I say there is work available, I mean it. I value dependable people, and I also make an effort to be a dependable client. I want you to improve and succeed. If you are willing to learn, I’m happy to provide feedback and work with you as you become better and faster at our particular style of editing. Ultimately, I’m looking for someone who wants more than a one-time job. If you are reliable, hardworking, easy to communicate with, willing to learn, and interested in consistent work, there is an opportunity here to build a working relationship that lasts for years. Payment The rate is $1.20 per edited minute. For example: 10-minute completed video = $12 15-minute completed video = $18 20-minute completed video = $24 There will be a large and consistent volume of work available for the right person. Who We Are Looking For You do not need to be an extremely experienced video editor to apply. We care more about finding someone who: Can follow instructions carefully Is reliable and communicates well Pays attention to detail Is willing to learn and improve Can consistently meet deadlines Takes pride in making each video helpful and enjoyable to watch Is interested in stable, long-term work rather than just completing one project If you are dedicated and willing to learn our editing style, we are happy to work with you. 📝 How to Apply To apply for this job, your proposal must contain all three sections below: Part A, Part B, and Part C.
