Long-Term Video Editor for Travel & Cruise YouTube Channel (Weekly Uploads + Backlog

We run Quest Xccepted, a growing YouTube channel and podcast focused on cruise and travel content (cabin tours, ship walkthroughs, cruise news, and travel vlogs). We're looking for a long-term video editor to help us clear a backlog of raw footage and then take on ongoing weekly editing as we grow. What we need: - Edit raw footage into polished, retention-focused YouTube videos (typical length 8-15 minutes, some longer ship walkthroughs) - Basic captions/text overlays, pacing cuts, and clean audio - Occasional short-form cuts (Shorts/Reels) from the same footage - Eventually, light audio editing support for a weekly podcast How this will work: This posting is for a paid trial video ($30 fixed price) so we can see how well your editing style fits our brand before committing to ongoing work. We'll provide raw footage and a short style guide (reference videos, pacing notes, tone). If the trial is a strong match, this moves into regular paid work at $75-150 per video, with the goal of a long-term working relationship. We want someone who learns our style well enough to eventually have creative freedom within it, rather than needing detailed notes on every edit. What we're looking for: - Experience editing YouTube content (travel/vlog experience a plus, not required) - Comfortable working from raw files and a written style guide - Reliable communication and turnaround - Adobe Premiere Pro preferred Please include 2-3 links to YouTube edits you've done (ideally vlog or travel-style content) with your proposal.
