YouTube Documentary Video Editor We are looking for a talented YouTube video editor for a faceless Christian history and Bible-focused channel producing 15–25 minute documentary-style videos. We provide the final script and voiceover. You turn them into a polished, visually compelling story. What We’re Looking For Our videos should feel like modern, premium YouTube documentaries—cinematic, intelligent, curiosity-driven, and highly visual. Visuals must directly support the narration. If the story mentions a specific location, person, manuscript, artifact, building, or historical event, the viewer should see something relevant to it. When the story moves geographically, use maps and movement to help the viewer follow the journey. We do not want generic B-roll or a small collection of AI images recycled throughout the video. Responsibilities * Build the complete visual edit around the voiceover * Source high-quality footage, images, maps, artwork, manuscripts, and historical material * Create/source AI visuals when appropriate * Create simple map animations and motion graphics * Add subtle movement to still imagery * Select and integrate music and sound design * Maintain strong pacing and visual variety * Ensure visuals accurately match the narration * Deliver a finished, YouTube-ready video Ideal Editor You should have: * Strong visual storytelling instincts * Experience with long-form YouTube content * Understanding of audience retention and pacing * Experience sourcing appropriate visual assets * Map/motion graphics capabilities * Strong attention to historical and contextual accuracy * Ability to use AI imagery without making the video feel repetitive or artificial This has the potential to become a long-term editing relationship with consistent work.
