Lumber Takeoff Analyst - Heavy Experience with California Construction, Framing & Structural Eng

Job Description: Take a set of construction plans (architectural and structural set of plans) and convert them into the complete list of lumber and hardware components for construction. We are looking for people with extensive knowledge of construction and framing in the United States to produce lumber and hardware takeoffs (material schedules). People in the ideal position for this job: Structural Engineers, Framers and General Contractors. You will be required to know and learn extensive knowledge in construction in the USA (particularly California). If you are not knowledgeable, you may apply but we will NOT be paying for you to learn. Learning will have to be done on your own time. If we see strong interest from you, we may help you learn what it takes and then discuss wages for a long term position for construction material estimation.
