MODX Developer: Rebuild Website from Web Archive with New Design & Complete SEO Optimization

We are looking for an experienced MODX developer to reconstruct a website using archived content from WebArchive (Wayback Machine), apply a brand-new, pre-built front-end design, and ensure full adherence to technical SEO best practices. The main goal is to restore all historical text content, site structure, and media from the archived version of the site and seamlessly migrate it into a clean MODX installation with our updated layout. Preserving search engine rankings and following strict SEO guidelines during the rebuild is critical. Note: All HTML/CSS/JS markup (the new design) is 100% complete and ready for integration. Key Responsibilities Extract and recover all pages, text content, media, and site structure from the WebArchive snapshot. Set up and configure a clean MODX CMS environment. Integrate the pre-built static templates/layout into MODX chunks, snippets, and templates. Configure dynamic fields (TVs / Template Variables), dynamic menus (Wayfinder / pdoTools), and forms. SEO Implementation: Preserve historical URL structures or configure proper 301 redirects for any altered paths. Transfer and set up key SEO metadata (Meta Titles, Descriptions, Heading tags H1–H6, Alt tags for images). Generate dynamic XML sitemaps, configure robots.txt, canonical tags, and clean semantic URLs (FURL/alias structure). Verify mobile responsiveness, form functionality, site speed, and technical SEO compliance post-integration. Requirements & Qualifications Proven expertise in MODX CMS (please specify if you specialize in Evolution or Revolution). Strong experience with WebArchive scraping/content extraction tools. In-depth knowledge of technical SEO standards, 301 redirect mapping, and metadata management. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP. Familiarity with popular MODX extras (e.g., pdoTools, FormIt, ClientConfig, SEO-related extras like StercSEO/SEO Pro). Strong attention to detail to ensure zero loss of historical content, link equity, or SEO value.
