MQL Developer — Custom Automated Trading Strategy (MT4/MT5)

I'm looking for an experienced MQL4/MQL5 developer to build a custom automated trading strategy (Expert Advisor) for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. The ideal candidate combines strong programming skills with a solid understanding of trading and risk management, and can communicate clearly throughout the project. Responsibilities Develop a fully functional Expert Advisor (EA) in MQL4 and/or MQL5 based on my strategy logic and entry/exit rules. Implement robust stop-loss and take-profit management, including fixed, trailing, and break-even stops. Build pyramiding logic (scaling into winning positions) with configurable rules for add-on entries, position sizing, and maximum exposure. Implement position sizing and money management (fixed lot, percentage-of-equity risk, and risk-per-trade options). Add configurable input parameters so I can adjust settings without touching the code. Backtest and optimize the strategy in the Strategy Tester, and share results. Handle edge cases: slippage, spread filters, requotes, partial fills, and trading-session/time filters. Provide clean, well-commented code and clear documentation on how to install and configure the EA. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience developing EAs in MQL4 and MQL5 (please share past examples or portfolio). Strong understanding of financial markets and trading mechanics — order types, leverage, margin, drawdown, and risk-reward. Solid grasp of risk management concepts, including stop-loss strategies, pyramiding, and position sizing. Experience with backtesting and optimization in MetaTrader's Strategy Tester. Good written and verbal communication skills — able to explain technical decisions in plain language and give regular progress updates. Ability to translate a described strategy into precise, rule-based logic and flag any ambiguities.
