Manual Business Directory Submission & Web Research

We are looking for a reliable freelancer to manually process a prepared list of approximately 88 business directory, agency directory, local citation, and company-profile opportunities for an established U.S. digital marketing company. Budget: $100 USD fixed price This is primarily data entry and web research. Accuracy and following instructions are more important than speed. What you will do For each candidate on our spreadsheet: Visit the website manually. Search for our company name and domain to determine whether a profile already exists. If a profile exists, do NOT create a duplicate. Record the existing profile URL. Verify that a new listing/profile can be created for free. Skip and document opportunities requiring payment, subscriptions, paid trials, reciprocal links, or other fees. For qualified opportunities, create the listing/profile using only the company information we provide. Record the result and live profile URL when available. Take a screenshot showing proof of the submission/result. Update the supplied tracking spreadsheet. Move to the next candidate. Important: websites change Our candidate list is based on prior research, but third-party websites change. If a directory has become paid, no longer accepts submissions, already contains our business, is unavailable, requires owner verification, has changed its requirements, or otherwise cannot reasonably be completed, this is not considered a failure. Document what you found, include screenshot evidence when practical, update the spreadsheet, and move to the next candidate. You are being evaluated on accuracy, documentation, and following instructions — not on achieving a specific number of successful submissions. Screenshot proof Screenshot evidence is required for successful submissions and existing profiles and should be provided for meaningful blockers when practical. Screenshots should be clearly named to correspond with the spreadsheet entry, for example: 023_Manta_Submitted.png 024_Hotfrog_Existing.png Rules Do NOT: Create duplicate profiles Pay for listings or upgrades Start paid trials Agree to reciprocal links Create fake reviews, ratings, or testimonials Invent or change company information Use your personal email address for company accounts Use automated/bulk directory-submission software We will provide an approved company-domain email address for registrations and verification. If a site requires owner verification, phone verification, identity verification, credentials you have not been provided, or another action requiring the business owner, document it and move on. Do not guess or improvise. Deliverables At completion, return: Completed tracking spreadsheet Status for each candidate processed New profile/listing URLs where available Existing profile URLs discovered Pending-review status where applicable Reasons for skipped or blocked candidates Organized screenshot evidence Ideal candidate Experience with any of the following is helpful: Data entry Web research Local citations Business directory submissions Company profile creation Local SEO Spreadsheet-based research Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written instructions are essential. This is a $100 fixed-price project. We expect the project to be completed within approximately 5–7 days. Excellent work may lead to additional research, data-entry, and directory projects.
