Marine Structural Engineer – Residential Floating Dock Design

We need a structural engineer to prepare calculations and permit-ready drawings for a 20 ft x 20 ft residential floating dock in Manvel, Texas. The project includes two prefabricated aluminum gangways connected to an existing bulkhead, railings on gangways only, and no piles. The water surface is 26 inches below the bulkhead top, with depths of 3.5 ft at 10 ft, 6 ft at 20 ft, and 10 ft at 30 ft from the bulkhead. Scope includes dock framing, flotation, buoyancy, freeboard, stability, anchorage, lateral restraint, gangway connections, bulkhead connection loads, structural calculations, connection details, and permit-ready PDF and editable DWG drawings. We will provide a survey, site photos, dock guidelines, and concept drawings.
