Summary

Position Summary The Marketing and Communications Associate is responsible for building and protecting Progeneration Energy's public and institutional credibility through clear, professional, and consistent communications. This role is not a sales function. Its purpose is to communicate, in a marketing quality voice, the legitimacy, capability, and track record of Progeneration Energy's development, financing, and operating activities to external stakeholders, investors, partners, and the broader public. The Marketing and Communications Associate translates company milestones, project progress, and institutional credentials into materials and messaging that build trust and reinforce the company's standing as a serious, credible developer of solar and mega solar projects. Reports To: Chief of Staff Role Type: Corporate communications, brand and narrative development, content production, stakeholder facing materials, and institutional visibility Core Mandate: Build and protect the legitimacy of Progeneration Energy through consistent, professional, and marketing-quality communications to our external stakeholders such as partners, investors and potential partners or investors. Primary Responsibilities: 1. Brand Voice & Corporate Narrative Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice, messaging framework, and narrative that communicates Progeneration Energy's legitimacy, capability, and credibility. Translate technical, financial, and operational milestones into clear, professional narratives suitable for external audiences. Maintain messaging consistency across internal updates, external communications, investor memo, and public-facing content. Ensure all communications reinforce the company's positioning as an institutional, credible, and capable solar development firm, rather than an early-stage or speculative operator. 2. Content Development & Production Draft and produce marketing-quality content, including company overviews, project profiles, milestone announcements, copywriting, presentation materials, and one-pagers. Coordinate the design and production of materials used in stakeholder, investor, and partner-facing communications. Maintain a content library of approved company language, project descriptions, credentials, and boilerplate for reuse across materials. Support the Chief of Staff and executive team by converting operational updates into polished, audience-appropriate communications. 3. Stakeholder & Institutional Communications: Support the development of communications directed at investors, partners, potential partners/investors, and strategic counterparties. Coordinate with internal teams to gather accurate project and milestone information for use in external-facing materials. Ensure all stakeholder-facing communications are accurate, current, and consistent with the company's official positioning. Support preparation of materials that reinforce credibility during diligence, partner evaluation, or institutional review processes. 4. Digital Presence & Public-Facing Materials: Maintain and update the company website, professional social channels, and any public-facing digital properties. Monitor how Progeneration Energy is represented externally and flag inconsistencies, gaps, or reputational risks. Support the production of announcements, press-ready materials, and public statements related to milestones, partnerships, or company developments. Coordinate with external vendors, designers, or agencies supporting marketing and communications production, where applicable. 5. Internal Communications Support Support internal team updates and communications that require a polished, professional presentation. Help maintain templates, formatting standards, and communication systems used across the company. Coordinate with the Chief of Staff on cadence and consistency of recurring internal and external communications. 6. Documentation & Communications Tracking Maintain an organized library of communications materials, templates, and approved messaging by audience type. Track communications deliverables, deadlines, and open items related to marketing and stakeholder materials. Maintain version control on public-facing materials to ensure accuracy and avoid outdated or inconsistent messaging. Authority Draft, produce, and coordinate marketing and communications materials for internal and external audiences. Request project and milestone information from internal teams needed to produce accurate communications. Coordinate with external designers, vendors, or agencies supporting communications production. Maintain communications templates, brand materials, and messaging libraries. Escalate reputational risks, messaging inconsistencies, or material inaccuracies to the Chief of Staff or Founder. Does not independently approve public statements, investor-facing claims, or externally distributed materials without review. Qualifications 2+ years in marketing, communications, brand, public relations, or content roles, ideally within a corporate, development, finance, or infrastructure environment. Strong writing skills with the ability to translate technical or operational information into clear, professional, marketing-quality content for high-end investors. Comfortable working with limited raw information and shaping it into polished, audience-ready materials. Basic familiarity with design and content tools (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Canva, or similar). High attention to accuracy, tone, and consistency, given the credibility-sensitive nature of the materials produced. Strong information handling discipline, with the ability to manage sensitive company, project, and stakeholder information responsibly and avoid data privacy breaches in all communications and materials. Preferred Experience / Technical Familiarity Renewable energy(Solar), infrastructure, real estate, or project development sectors. Experience producing investor-facing or institutional communications. Experience maintaining a company website or professional social presence. Experience with Microsoft 365, Word, PowerPoint, and basic design or content platforms. Success Metrics Progeneration Energy is consistently represented as credible, professional, and institutional across all communications. Marketing and stakeholder materials are accurate, current, and produced without avoidable delay. Stakeholders receive polished, professional communications that reinforce trust in the company. Messaging remains consistent across channels, audiences, and materials. The company's public and institutional presence improves in clarity, consistency, and credibility over time. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a strong writer and communicator who understands how to build credibility through tone, clarity, and consistency rather than through sales pressure. This person can take raw operational or technical information and shape it into professional, trust-building content for investors, partners, and the public. The best candidate combines the instincts of a brand communicator, the discipline of a content producer, and the judgment to know what strengthens versus what undermines institutional credibility.
