Master Planner / Civil Engineer for Hilly Community Development

We are looking for a master planner and/or civil engineer with experience planning residential communities on challenging topography. The project involves a large-scale residential community on hilly/steep terrain. We are particularly interested in someone who understands how to lay out roads, building areas, lots, and infrastructure in a way that works naturally with the existing contours. A major part of the project will involve terraced development and grading—working with the topography rather than simply cutting straight across it. We are looking for someone who understands how road alignments, building pads, retaining conditions, grades, drainage, and infrastructure can work together to create a practical and economically buildable community. We are looking for someone with solid practical experience who can analyze the terrain, develop workable planning concepts, and communicate clearly with our design team. Experience with master planning, civil/site planning, grading, land development, and residential communities is strongly preferred. The initial work will focus on studying the site and helping us develop a practical planning approach. This may develop into longer-term planning and civil engineering work as the project progresses. Please include examples of projects where you worked with hilly or steep terrain, particularly projects involving roads, grading, terracing, or development of multiple buildings/units.
