Production-Ready V1 Matchmaking & Social Platform Project Overview We are looking for an experienced full-stack/mobile app developer or development team to build a production-ready V1 matchmaking and social platform. The platform will combine: * Marriage matchmaking * Live matchmaking * Private messaging * Premium memberships * Privacy and safety features * Social interaction * Real-time multiplayer Ludo This is not intended to be a simple prototype or throwaway MVP. We want a polished, production-ready V1 with a strong and scalable technical foundation capable of supporting significant user growth after launch. For confidentiality, detailed business information and the final app name will be shared with shortlisted candidates. ⸻ 1. User Registration & Authentication Users should be able to: * Register using email and/or phone * Log in securely * Verify their account * Reset passwords * Manage their account * Delete their account * Log out securely * Receive notifications * Accept Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy ⸻ 2. User Profiles Users should be able to create detailed matchmaking profiles including: * Profile photos * Age * Gender * Country * Location displayed at country level rather than exact address * About me * Marriage intentions * Languages * Religion * Height * Education * Occupation * Marriage preferences * Other relevant matchmaking information Users should have control over which information is visible. ⸻ 3. Search & Matchmaking Users should be able to discover potential marriage partners. Basic users should have access to basic discovery/search functionality. Premium users should have access to additional filters such as: * Age * Country * Education * Occupation * Languages * Marriage preferences * Height * Religion The architecture should allow additional matchmaking criteria to be added later. ⸻ 4. Live Matchmaking A key feature will be Live Matchmaking. Users should be able to participate in a live matchmaking experience where suitable users can be presented to each other in real time. Potential functionality includes: * Live matchmaking sessions * User availability status * Match suggestions * Accept/decline interaction * Mutual matching * Real-time notifications * Ability to move from a match into messaging The developer should recommend the best technical approach for implementing this reliably at scale. ⸻ 5. Likes & Matching Users should be able to: * Like another profile * See mutual matches * View people who liked them where applicable * Remove/block users * Start conversations after a mutual match The matching system should be designed so more sophisticated algorithms can be introduced later. ⸻ 6. Real-Time Messaging Users should be able to communicate privately. Required functionality: * One-to-one messaging * Real-time messages * Push notifications * Message timestamps * Read/unread status * Block user * Report user * Appropriate conversation management The messaging infrastructure must be designed for scalability. ⸻ 7. Privacy Features Privacy is an important part of the platform. Users should have control over: * Who can see their profile * Who can see their photos * Profile visibility by region/country * Photo privacy * Blocking users * Reporting users We are also interested in photo blurring/privacy functionality. The developer may recommend the best technical implementation. ⸻ 8. Premium Membership & Payments The platform will have both free and premium functionality. The developer should implement a secure subscription/payment system. Premium functionality may include: * Advanced search filters * Searching outside a user’s region * Additional visibility options * Additional matchmaking functionality * Other premium features The architecture should allow additional subscription plans and premium features to be introduced later. ⸻ 9. Multiplayer game The platform will also include Ludo as an interactive social feature. Users should be able to: * Play game online * Play against another registered user * Create or join a game * Invite another user * See real-time game updates * Leave/end a game appropriately * See game results The developer should recommend an appropriate architecture for real-time multiplayer game. The game should be integrated into the main platform rather than operating as a completely separate application. The initial game implementation does not need to be an extremely complex gaming platform, but it must be stable, responsive and suitable for real users. ⸻ 10. Notifications The application should support push notifications for relevant events, including: * New match * New message * Likes/matches * Live matchmaking events * Ludo invitations and game events * Subscription/payment events * Account/security notifications Users should have notification controls within settings. ⸻ 11. Safety, Reporting & Moderation Because this is a marriage/matchmaking platform, user safety is essential. Users should be able to: * Report profiles * Report messages * Block users * Unmatch users * Flag inappropriate content Administrators should be able to: * Review reports * Suspend users * Ban users * Remove inappropriate content * Manage profiles * Manage subscriptions * Monitor platform activity ⸻ 12. Admin Dashboard A proper admin dashboard is required. Administrators should be able to manage: * Users * Profiles * Photos * Reports * Matches * Subscriptions * Payments * Banned/suspended users * Ludo activity * Live matchmaking * Platform statistics Analytics should include information such as: * Registered users * Active users * New registrations * Premium subscribers * Revenue * Matches * Messages * Reports * User activity/retention ⸻ 13. Scalability & Performance This is one of the most important requirements. We do not want an application that works only for a small number of users and then requires major redevelopment. The architecture should be designed from the beginning to accommodate growth. The developer should explain how the proposed architecture can support: * Thousands of users * Tens of thousands of users * Potentially significantly larger numbers in the future Particular attention should be given to: * Database architecture * API performance * Image/file storage * Messaging * Live matchmaking * Multiplayer Ludo * Notifications * Server infrastructure * Security * Backups * Monitoring * Load/performance testing We understand infrastructure costs may increase as the number of users grows. However, the underlying application architecture should be designed for scalability from the beginning. ⸻ 14. Security Security must be treated as a core requirement. The application should include appropriate: * Secure authentication * Authorization * API security * Data protection * Secure payment integration * Protection against common attacks * Rate limiting * Secure file/image uploads * Admin access controls * Logging and monitoring * Backup/recovery procedures The developer should identify any additional security measures they recommend. ⸻ 15. Technology We are open to recommendations regarding the technology stack. We are considering a cross-platform solution such as Flutter, but the developer should explain their recommended architecture and why it is appropriate. Design & User Experience The application should have a modern, professional and trustworthy design. The platform is focused on serious marriage matchmaking, rather than casual dating. Developer Requirements We are looking for a developer/team with demonstrated experience building: * Dating or matchmaking applications * Social platforms * Real-time applications * Chat/messaging systems * Subscription/payment systems * Multiplayer games or real-time games * Scalable backend systems Experience with Flutter is preferred if Flutter is used. Experience with Firebase, AWS, Google Cloud or similar infrastructure is beneficial, but we are open to professional recommendations. ⸻ 20. Your post-launch bug-fixing/support period. ⸻ Important We are not looking for a quick prototype. We want a production-ready V1 that can be launched publicly and provide a strong foundation for significant user growth. However, we also want the project managed intelligently so that unnecessary features do not inflate the development cost. Please clearly distinguish between: Essential V1 functionality and Recommended future V2 functionality. Detailed information about the business concept, branding and target market will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
