Medical Research & Literature Review Assistance

We are seeking an experienced medical researcher or research assistant to provide support with a medical literature review and related research activities. The specific clinical topic, research question, and project details will be shared with shortlisted candidates before the contract begins. The role is limited to research assistance and support. All research decisions, interpretation of findings, and final work product will be independently reviewed and approved by our team. Scope of Assistance Depending on experience, assistance may include: * Conducting structured literature searches using PubMed/MEDLINE and other relevant biomedical databases * Identifying and organizing relevant peer-reviewed studies * Assisting with refinement of search terms and research methodology * Screening titles, abstracts, and full-text articles using predefined criteria * Organizing relevant information from eligible studies * Preparing structured literature and evidence tables * Checking references, citations, and source information for accuracy * Summarizing findings from published medical literature * Assisting with critical appraisal of relevant studies * Organizing research materials and supporting documentation * Preparing tables, figures, or other research-related materials when needed * Providing editing, formatting, and revision assistance * Addressing feedback and making requested revisions to research materials Ideal Candidate * Experience assisting with medical or biomedical research * Strong understanding of evidence-based medicine and clinical research * Experience searching PubMed/MEDLINE and other biomedical databases * Ability to critically review peer-reviewed medical literature * Familiarity with reference-management tools such as EndNote, Zotero, or similar software * Experience with systematic reviews or meta-analyses is a plus * Previous peer-reviewed research experience is strongly preferred Potential Deliverables Specific deliverables will be agreed upon for each milestone and may include: * Literature search results and documented search strategy * Organized reference library * Screening records * Structured data/evidence extraction sheets * Literature summary tables * Verified references and citations * Research summaries * Tables and figures * Organized research files and supporting documentation * Requested revisions to completed research materials Research Integrity All assistance must follow accepted scientific and ethical standards. Fabricated data, fabricated or unverifiable references, plagiarism, or misrepresentation of published findings will not be accepted. All sources must be legitimate, retrievable, and appropriately documented. Research materials should be sufficiently organized so that the underlying information can be independently checked and verified by our team.
