Meta Media Buyer / Creative Strategist — DTC Kids Health & Wellness Brand
Worldwide
# Meta Media Buyer / Creative Strategist — DTC Kids Health & Wellness Brand We are launching a new **children’s health and wellness supplement brand** and are looking for an experienced **Meta Media Buyer / Creative Strategist** to help take the brand from launch to scale. This is **not just an ads-manager role**. We are looking for someone who understands the entire DTC performance marketing system: **Research → Angles → Hooks → Creative Concepts → Testing → Media Buying → Analysis → Iteration → Scaling** You will work directly with our team to develop our paid acquisition strategy, create a continuous pipeline of winning creative concepts, launch and manage Meta campaigns, analyze performance, and scale what works. Our primary customer is **parents**, particularly mothers purchasing health and wellness products for their children. ## Your Role You will own two major areas: ### 1. Creative Strategy You will develop the creative testing strategy behind our Meta advertising. Responsibilities include: * Customer and competitor research * Market awareness research * Developing customer avatars * Identifying pain points, desires, objections, and buying motivations * Developing marketing angles * Writing hooks * Developing ad concepts * Writing creative briefs * UGC concepts and scripts * Static ad concepts * Video ad concepts * Founder/product demonstration concepts * Testimonial/review concepts * Educational concepts * Direct-response concepts * Analyzing winning and losing creatives * Creating iterations based on performance data * Maintaining a continuous creative testing pipeline We will have designers/editors/creators available for production. **Your responsibility is primarily deciding what we should create, why we should create it, and what the performance data tells us to create next.** ## 2. Meta Media Buying You will also be responsible for launching, managing, optimizing, and scaling our Meta advertising. Responsibilities include: * Meta Ads Manager setup/review * Campaign structure * Pixel/CAPI tracking review * Launch strategy * Creative testing campaigns * Audience testing where appropriate * Budget allocation * Daily campaign monitoring * Performance analysis * Cutting losing ads * Identifying winning creatives * Scaling winning campaigns * Retargeting strategy * Campaign optimization * Reporting and communicating performance to the team We want someone comfortable taking a brand from **$0 in ad spend through initial validation and eventually into meaningful daily spend.** ## Quantifiable Deliverables We want clear weekly output rather than vague “marketing management.” ### Before Launch Within the initial strategy phase, we expect: * **1 complete competitor/market research document** * **3–5 core customer avatars / segments** * **10+ major customer pain points/desires** * **10+ core marketing angles** * **30+ initial hooks** * **10–15 initial ad concepts** * Initial Meta campaign/testing structure * Initial KPI/testing framework * Creative testing roadmap for the first 30 days ### Weekly After Launch Expected output should include approximately: * **5–10 new creative concepts per week** * **15–30 new hooks per week** * **5+ detailed creative briefs per week** * **2–5 UGC/video scripts per week** * New static ad concepts as needed * Winning creative iterations every week * Daily Meta campaign monitoring * Budget and campaign optimization * **1 weekly performance report** * **1 weekly creative performance analysis** * Clear recommendations for what we test next The exact creative volume may evolve based on spend and performance, but we want someone who believes in **consistent creative testing and iteration.** ## Creative Testing Philosophy We do not want someone who launches a few ads and waits. We want a systematic testing process. For example: **Angle → Concept → Hook → Creative → Test → Analyze → Iterate → Scale** When something wins, we want to understand **why it won** and create multiple intelligent variations. If an ad performs well, you should be thinking: * What other hooks can we test? * What part of the ad caused it to work? * Can we change the opening? * Can we test another creator? * Can we test the same angle as a static? * Can we test another format? * Can we expand the underlying angle? * What does the data tell us about the customer? We want someone who treats **creative as a performance system**, not simply content. ## Ideal Candidate We strongly prefer someone with experience in: * DTC / e-commerce * Meta advertising * Consumer packaged goods * Supplements * Health & wellness * Children's products * Parenting products * Subscription brands * High-volume creative testing Experience with brands selling primarily to **women/mothers** is a major plus. You should understand metrics such as: * CPA * CAC * ROAS * MER * CTR * CPC * CPM * CVR * AOV * Hook rate * Hold rate * Creative spend * Creative fatigue Most importantly, you should understand **how these metrics translate into decisions.** ## What We Don't Want We are **not** looking for someone who: * Only knows how to operate Ads Manager * Depends heavily on interest targeting * Launches ads without a clear testing hypothesis * Gives generic marketing recommendations * Cannot explain why creatives win or lose * Has no direct-response creative experience * Simply sends screenshots of ROAS without deeper analysis We want someone who can connect **creative strategy and media buying together.** ## Reporting & Communication You will work directly with our project manager and creative team. We operate quickly and expect strong communication. You should be able to clearly explain: **What happened → Why you think it happened → What we're changing → What we're testing next** We will have regular team communication and performance reviews as we move toward launch and scale. ## Timeline We are currently in the pre-launch phase and expect to launch within approximately **60 days**. You would initially help us prepare: * Customer research * Competitor research * Creative strategy * Initial ad concepts * Creative briefs * Meta campaign architecture * Launch testing strategy Once the product launches, the role transitions into ongoing **creative strategy + media buying + scaling.** ## Compensation Please submit your proposed rate for: **Initial launch strategy + ongoing monthly management.** We are open to talented candidates globally and care much more about **actual DTC performance, strategic thinking, and execution ability** than location. This has the potential to become a **long-term position** if performance is strong. ## How to Apply Please include: 1. **3–5 DTC/e-commerce brands you have personally worked on** 2. Your exact role with each brand 3. Examples of Meta accounts you have scaled 4. Approximate monthly ad spend you personally managed 5. Examples of creative strategies/concepts you developed 6. Examples of winning ads you helped develop 7. Your creative testing methodology 8. Your approach to launching a brand with little/no historical advertising data 9. Your proposed monthly rate 10. Your availability Please also answer: **You launch 10 new creatives. Two significantly outperform the other eight. Walk us through exactly what you would do next.** Please start your proposal with the word **“CREATIVE”** so we know you read the entire job description. **We are looking for someone who can eventually become the performance marketing brain behind the brand — not simply someone who turns Meta campaigns on and off.**
