NobleProg is seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Trainer to deliver beginner-level, instructor-led training for a government agency. APPLICANT LOCATION REQUIREMENT: We are currently considering Hawaii-based trainers or trainers located within the U.S. Pacific Time Zone only. This will be the group’s first formal Microsoft 365 training, so we need a trainer who can explain M365 concepts clearly to non-technical professionals and focus on practical, immediately useful workflows. IMPORTANT – MICROSOFT 365 ENVIRONMENT REQUIRED You MUST have your own active Microsoft 365 environment that can be used for live demonstrations and exercises. Your environment must allow you to demonstrate: Microsoft Teams OneDrive SharePoint Microsoft Word / Word Online File sharing and permissions Version history Real-time co-authoring and collaboration Please do not apply if you cannot provide live demonstrations using your own functioning Microsoft 365 environment. Delivery Details Total duration: 14 training hours Group size: approximately 10–40 participants Level: Beginner / end-user Client: Government agency Delivery: Either onsite in Hawaii or remote — client is still deciding If onsite: 2 consecutive training days If remote: 14 hours may be divided into shorter sessions Dates: TBD Applicants: Hawaii residents or U.S. Pacific Time Zone trainers only Compensation $2,400 total professional fee, covering: 1 client preparation/alignment meeting Training preparation and customization 2 days of instructor-led training delivery If the client selects onsite delivery in Hawaii, reasonable travel expenses may be considered separately. For trainers traveling from the U.S. Pacific Coast, this may include: Round-trip airfare to Hawaii Hotel accommodation Uber/local ground transportation Travel arrangements and reimbursable expenses must be agreed upon with NobleProg in advance. Course Topics The proposed course is Microsoft 365 Collaboration Essentials and will focus on practical use of: Microsoft 365 Foundations Understanding Microsoft 365 and cloud-based working OneDrive vs SharePoint vs email attachments Desktop apps vs online apps Microsoft Teams Chat and group communication Chat vs email Teams and channels Posts, replies, and @mentions File collaboration within Teams Meetings, meeting files, notes, recordings, and transcripts OneDrive Organizing and accessing personal files File Explorer synchronization Migrating from network folders SharePoint Navigating SharePoint sites and document libraries Shared/departmental file management Relationship between Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive Permissions & Secure Sharing Sharing links vs attachments View vs edit access Internal vs external sharing Handling sensitive/judicial content appropriately Co-Authoring & Version Control Real-time Word collaboration Version history Restoring previous versions AutoSave Maintaining one source of truth instead of multiple document versions Word Online – If Time Permits Word Online vs desktop Word Comments Track Changes @mentions The training should be highly interactive, combining demonstrations, guided exercises, discussion, real-world examples, and Q&A. Ideal Trainer We are looking for someone with: Strong hands-on Microsoft 365 experience Previous instructor-led M365 end-user training experience Strong knowledge of Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Word Experience teaching beginner/non-technical audiences Excellent communication and facilitation skills Ability to manage groups of 10–40 participants Their own Microsoft 365 training/demo environment Residence in Hawaii or the U.S. Pacific Time Zone Experience delivering training for government, public-sector, legal, court, judicial, or security-conscious organizations is highly desirable. If onsite delivery is selected, the trainer must be willing and available to deliver the course in Hawaii. When Applying, Please Include A short summary of your Microsoft 365 training experience.
