Microsoft Power Pages Develper - Ordering & Inventory Portal
Worldwide
We are a state-licensed Oklahoma cannabis wholesale business seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform developer to complete and improve an existing B2B ordering and inventory system. The portal does not process payments or sell directly to consumers. This is not a new build. We already have: • A Microsoft Power Pages ordering site • Dataverse tables for products, orders, and order items • A customer order form • Products displayed in collapsible categories with quantity fields • Custom JavaScript • Power Automate flows • An internal model-driven Power App for managing orders • Automatic order numbers, city fields, and delivery-zone automation We need someone to audit the existing system, repair current issues, improve the user experience, and prepare it for production. CUSTOMER PORTAL REQUIREMENTS • Clean, professional, mobile-friendly design • Customers should not need a Microsoft Office login • One scrollable ordering page with collapsible product categories • Show strain, package size, available inventory, and quantity fields • Reliably create one order record with all related order-item records • Collect dispensary name, license information, buyer/contact name, phone, city, requested delivery date, and notes • Prevent blank, invalid, or duplicate orders • Provide a clear confirmation after submission INVENTORY REQUIREMENTS Inventory should be tracked by total grams available for each strain. Package sizes such as 3.5g, 7g, 14g, and 28g must all draw from the same total available grams. The system should: • Convert ordered package quantities into grams • Prevent orders from exceeding inventory • Handle simultaneous customer orders safely • Support adding inventory and physical-count adjustments • Maintain an inventory transaction history • Reserve or deduct inventory at the correct order-status stage • Return inventory when an order is canceled • Finalize inventory when an order is filled The developer should recommend the safest inventory workflow before implementation. INTERNAL ORDER MANAGEMENT Authorized employees should be able to: • Open and edit individual orders • Change Order Status using a clickable choice field • View every product, size, and quantity on an order • Filter by status, customer, date, city, and delivery zone • Track packing, fulfillment, delivery, and cancellation • Reconcile inventory without directly editing Dataverse tables Suggested statuses include New, Confirmed, Packing, Packed, Delivered/Filled, Canceled, and On Hold. NOTIFICATIONS We would like an automatic order notification containing the dispensary name, order number, products, package sizes, and quantities. Please explain reliable SMS or group-notification options. Signal integration is optional only if technically reliable and permitted. PRODUCTION AND SECURITY The current site is in a Developer environment. We need help with: • Power Pages licensing and capacity requirements • Moving the system into an appropriate Production environment • Anonymous/external customer access • Dataverse table permissions and Power Pages web roles • Secure migration of tables, flows, forms, views, JavaScript, and site configuration using Power Platform Solutions • Complete testing after deployment REQUIRED EXPERIENCE • Microsoft Power Pages—not only Canvas Power Apps • Dataverse and model-driven Power Apps • Power Automate cloud flows • Power Pages table permissions and web roles • JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and Liquid • Responsive portal design • Power Platform Solutions and environment migration • Ordering or inventory systems PL-400 or PL-600 certification is preferred. Please begin your proposal with “GLADIATOR POWER PAGES” and answer: Provide examples of two Power Pages portals you personally developed. Have you built an ordering or inventory system using Dataverse? How would you prevent simultaneous orders from overselling inventory? How would you migrate this Developer site into Production? What Microsoft access would you require? What is your estimated completion time and fixed-price range? We want to begin with a paid technical audit and written completion plan, followed by separate milestones for repairs, inventory, production deployment, testing, documentation, and training. All work must remain inside our Microsoft tenant. Our company must own all tables, flows, code, site configuration, and documentation. The final project must include an exported Power Platform Solution, written documentation, a recorded handoff session, and at least 14 days of post-deployment bug-fix support.
