Microsoft SharePoint Online Consultant for Knowledge Management Site Setup

We are an independent insurance agency looking for an experienced Microsoft SharePoint Online consultant to build the foundation of our internal knowledge management system. Important: We have already designed the content hierarchy and information architecture. We are not looking for someone to create our procedures, documentation, or content. We need an expert to implement our existing structure using SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 best practices. Responsibilities Create a SharePoint Online site for our internal knowledge base Configure site navigation and user-friendly layout Set up document libraries and folders based on our existing hierarchy Configure user permissions and security groups Optimize the site for search and future AI integration (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) Provide recommendations for SharePoint best practices where appropriate Conduct a walkthrough of the completed site and answer questions Requirements Proven experience designing and implementing SharePoint Online sites Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint best practices Experience building knowledge management systems or intranet sites Excellent written and spoken English Ability to communicate over Zoom Portfolio or examples of previous SharePoint projects preferred Project Scope This is a Phase 1 implementation focused solely on building the SharePoint foundation. We are intentionally keeping the project simple and are not looking for: Custom development Power Apps Power Automate workflows Microsoft Teams integration Data migration Content creation Deliverables Fully configured SharePoint Online site Document libraries and navigation User permissions configured Homepage created Final walkthrough and knowledge transfer Budget: $300–500 Fixed Price If the project is successful, there is potential for future work involving SharePoint enhancements, Microsoft 365, and AI integration.
