Job Title: Midjourney Artist – Photo-to-Painting Conversion Using Style References (Architectural Accuracy Required) Overview: I'm looking for a freelancer experienced in Midjourney's style reference (--sref) feature to transform my original photographs into painting-style artworks. Subjects include local landmarks (churches, historic buildings, schools), landscapes, flowers, and other photographic subjects. Final images are intended for commercial sale, including print-on-demand products. What you'll be working with: My original photographs (the base images) Reference images I'll provide that define the exact artistic style I want applied Core Task 1: Style-Referenced Image Conversion Using Midjourney's style reference tool, apply the visual style from my reference images onto my photographs — not a generic style, but the specific look, texture, and mood of the references I supply. Outputs should be produced in multiple mediums, including: Oil painting Pencil/ink sketch Watercolor Critical Requirement — Architectural Accuracy: For any image containing a building or structure, the following must remain faithful to the original photo, even as the artistic style changes: Overall size, shape, and scale of the building Correct proportions Accurate number and placement of windows and doors Correct placement of steps, walkways, and other structural details The artistic transformation should change how the image looks (medium, texture, brushwork, color treatment) without distorting what is actually there. Deliverables & Export Requirements: Since these images will be sold — including for print-on-demand — you must be able to deliver final files in multiple formats, aspect ratios, and sizes as needed. Specific format, size, and export requirements will vary from project to project and will be provided by me upon request. Ability to upscale and export cleanly across formats is essential. Core Task 2: Workflow Documentation & Tutorial (Separate Deliverable) For each individual style I provide, you'll also need to: Document the exact repeatable workflow used to achieve that style in Midjourney (settings, prompt structure, parameters like --sref and --iw values, etc.) Create a short, basic instructional/tutorial video walking through the exact step-by-step procedure for that style, so I can reproduce or reference it independently going forward Ideal Candidate: Strong hands-on experience with Midjourney, specifically style references (--sref) and image prompts (--iw) Understanding of how to balance style transfer against structural/architectural fidelity Experience exporting/upscaling AI-generated art for print-on-demand or commercial sale Comfortable documenting process clearly and recording simple screen-capture tutorials Portfolio examples of similar photo-to-art conversions (bonus if landmark/architecture-focused) Deliverables Summary: Final styled images per photo/style combination, delivered in requested formats/sizes One documented workflow + short tutorial video per style used Please specify your process, estimated turnaround, and revision policy in your proposal.
