THE LOGO A pillar of fire. Not still — alive. A swirling wind of fire inside the pillar. The same image from the end of Film 3 ("Made by the SF"): screen goes black, five seconds of silence, then a pillar of fire erupts from the heavens downward, reaching to earth. The camera flies over it, looking down. The pillar is not still — it's a swirling wind of fire. Alive. Moving. Breathing. The fire swirls and from within it, the ChurchSpark logo emerges. Exodus 13:21 — "By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light." The ChurchSpark logo IS the pillar of fire. It goes ahead of the family. It lights the way in the dark. It leads. THE FILM SEQUENCE (End of Film 3 — "Made by the SF") After George Jr. boards the bus to Stevens Farm. After the shoulder patches — Gpaw, Mmaw, BigaG, each "Made by God." The bus pulls away. Screen goes BLACK. Five seconds of silence. Then — a PILLAR OF FIRE from the heavens. Erupts from the top of the screen downward, reaching to earth. The camera FLIES over it, looking down. The pillar is not still — it is a swirling wind of fire. Alive. Moving. Breathing. The fire swirls and from within it, a shape emerges. A logo. Clear. Strong. Final. [ChurchSpark Logo — The Burning Wind of a Fire Pillar] The fire is the WHY. The Yard is the WAY. ChurchSpark is the fire that lights both. FADE OUT. This is the ONLY CGI element in all three brand films. Everything else is real. The fire is bigger than real because it IS bigger than real. THE SHIRT CONNECTION The Stevens Farm staff shirt: FRONT: "MADE BY SF" (identity — "I was made by Stevens Farm") BACK: [ChurchSpark pillar of fire logo] + "SF Director" (authority — "I lead Stevens Farm") The shirt is earned, not issued. You wear "Made by SF" when you graduate. You wear "SF Director" when you're chosen to lead. When the camera sees the back of UncaJ's shirt in the film, the audience sees the pillar of fire logo and "SF Director." They don't know what it means yet. But later — when the pillar of fire appears at the end and becomes the ChurchSpark logo — the shirt hits different. The camp director had the fire on his back the whole time. The logo reveal at the end IS the shirt reveal. THE STEVENS FARM CONNECTION Mmaw's maiden name is Stephens. Her father owned 100+ acres on the hill between Apison Pike and Old Lee Hwy. That land became Stevens Farm — ChurchSpark campus retreat, Safe Havens, Radiant Academy. The Stephens family gave the land to God. God gave it to ChurchSpark. ChurchSpark gave it to the kids. The kids become men. The men build The Yard. The Yard builds communities. The communities build the future. Mmaw's father didn't just donate land. He planted a seed. The pillar of fire is what grew from it. THE YCOMM CONNECTION — THE FIRE IS THE PHONE From "The Final String" — the ending nobody sees coming: YComm = Yahweh Communication. Y = Yahweh. The name God gave Moses at the burning bush. "I AM WHO I AM." The name that means: I am here. I have always been here. I will always be here. The pillar of fire in Exodus went BEFORE the Israelites. It led them. It didn't walk beside them — it went AHEAD. It was the first thing into the darkness. It was the light that said: "Follow me. I know the way." YComm IS the pillar of fire. It goes ahead of every person in the saga. It's in the cell before Johnny gets there. It's on the mountain before George Jr. arrives. It's at the camp before the bus pulls in. It's in the Safe Haven before the girl is rescued. It's in the disaster zone before the storm hits. The signal is always there first. The network is always there first. The connection is always there first. The ChurchSpark logo is a pillar of fire. The pillar of fire IS YComm. The fire IS the signal. The fire IS the connection. The fire IS the phone. The reader thought the fire was God. The reader was right. But the fire is God reaching through a phone with four buttons that works when nothing else does. THE FOUR BUTTONS = THE GOSPEL CHECK IN: "I'm still here." (presence) CALL: "I need you." (dependence) TEXT: "I'm thinking of you." (love) SOS: "Come get me." (salvation) The phone is the nudger. The text at 3am. The call from Mama. The CHECK IN from a cell. The SOS from a mountain. The nudger doesn't have to be a person. The nudger is the connection. The signal between two people that says: you are not alone. THE WHISPER → THE FIRE "Made by God" = the FIRST WORDS spoken in the entire saga. A mother to her newborn son. A whisper. Not shouted. Not preached. Whispered. "Made by God" becomes: The shoulder patches on George Jr. The logo on the Stevens Farm bus The pillar of fire — ChurchSpark Every logo, every brand, every patch in the saga traces back to that whisper. The fire started with a breath from a 15-year-old girl's lips on her baby's ear. THE DESIGN NOTES The pillar of fire should feel ALIVE — not a static logo Swirling wind inside the fire = the Spirit moving Fire goes from heaven to earth = divine to human The ChurchSpark wordmark emerges from or sits within the fire Colors: orange/gold fire, but should work in single-color (gold on dark, white on light) for embroidery and print The "swirling wind" element distinguishes it from a generic flame logo — it's specifically a PILLAR with wind/fire movement inside This is the ONLY CGI element in all three brand films. Everything else is real. The fire is bigger than real because it IS bigger than real. USAGE ChurchSpark Foundation primary logo Stevens Farm staff shirts (front: Made by SF, back: logo + title) The film ending (fire becomes logo) All ChurchSpark materials, retreat signage, campus branding Shoulder patch design reference (the fire could appear on patches)
