I need an attorney licensed to practice in Missouri to represent my single-member LLC. As the co-defendant, I have managed all answers and motions completely pro se. I have until Sept. 30, 2026, to secure an attorney who represents my LLC, as any pro se representation is unlawful practice of law. I prefer an attorney willing to enter an "Entry of Limited Appearance" with a detailed scope. A proposed entry is as follows: The undersigned enters a limited appearance on behalf of ____ solely for the following purposes in this action: 1. Signing, filing, and serving all pleadings, motions, responses, discovery papers, and other documents required to be filed by Defendant Harris Renovations, LLC, after review of drafts prepared by the company’s authorized representative. 2. Receiving service of pleadings, motions, notices, and other papers on behalf of the company under Rule 43.01 for so long as this limited appearance remains in effect. 3. Appearing at all court-set hearings, case-management or status conferences, pretrial conferences, and any trial or evidentiary hearing unless the court excuses counsel’s presence in advance. 4. Communicating with opposing counsel regarding scheduling, extensions, discovery mechanics, and settlement discussions that arise from items 1–3. 5. Advising the company on deadlines, required filings, and the legal effect of proposed papers within the scope above. This appearance does not include: independent factual investigation beyond review of materials the company provides; retention of experts; taking or defending depositions unless separately agreed in writing; appellate work; or any matter not listed. The company remains responsible for gathering facts, preparing first drafts, gathering exhibits, and delivering information to counsel on time. Appearance will be remote. To date, I have filed a Motion for Continuance, Answers to Petition, Affirmative Defenses, Motion for Excusal, and Motion for Discovery. After the Motion for Discovery, plaintiff's counsel contested the LLC's lack of representation. In addition, plaintiff's counsel contested one affirmative defense. I have filed a rebuttal. I have also composed a proposed settlement, though it has not been entered nor submitted to the opposing counsel. It is a bold proposal. Attached are the major documents I filed, which I drafted. I am happy to draft any necessary documents to reduce your "legwork." I understand any attorney entered, even in a limited capacity, is still obligated to meet specific duties. I believe the attorney's burden will be minimal given my ability to contribute. And, no, I do not believe I am an attorney. I believe all files attached are the final copies submitted to the court. These files are not an exhaustive list of all court correspondence.
