Mobile app developer to assist me via Replit
Worldwide
Mobile Sports App (Part-Time / Advisory) About the App Radar is a mobile app for youth sports parents and athletes. It solves a real problem: parents miss the play because they're fumbling with their phone. Radar uses a look-back video buffer (15, 30, or 60 seconds) so parents can tap after the moment happens and still capture it. Clips are automatically organized by game and event in the cloud. Athletes also get a built-in stat-tracking HUD during recording, a shareable performance card for recruiting, and a clip-sharing feature called RosterDrop to share footage. The app is built in Expo (React Native), with a Supabase backend (auth, storage, RLS), an Express API layer, and RevenueCat for subscriptions. The Situation I'm a non-technical founder building this myself with the help of Replit AI. I've gotten further than I expected but would like to accelerate progress. The app is running, core features are implemented, and we're approaching launch. But as we move into the final stretch, I'm hitting the kinds of technical challenges that require mobile engineering experience to solve quickly and correctly: native module conflicts, Expo build configuration, performance edge cases, database migration timing, and more. What I Need A seasoned React Native / Expo developer who can: Be available on an as-needed basis (a few hours a week, more during crunch) Review code, diagnose issues, and explain solutions clearly to a non-technical founder Step in and write or fix code when needed Help prioritize what to tackle before launch vs. after Flag issues I don't know to ask about Ideal Background Flexible hours, async-friendly Hourly rate preferred Looking to start immediately If you enjoy helping founders ship real products and don't mind a codebase built with a lot of AI assistance that needs an experienced eye, this is a good fit.
