Motion Designer / Animator for EdTech Platform

We’re an early-stage EdTech platform based in the GCC looking for a freelance Motion Designer / Animator. We need someone who can use animation to make learning concepts easier to understand. This could include explaining a maths concept visually, showing a learner how something changes step by step, animating graphs or formulas, or demonstrating how a student interacts with an EdTech platform. The goal is simple: The animation should help the learner understand the concept better. What you may work on 🎯 Animated learning explainers 🎯 Maths and STEM concept visualisations 🎯 Animated graphs, formulas, diagrams and processes 🎯 Step-by-step educational animations 🎯 Product and UI animations 🎯 Feature walkthroughs 🎯 Short-form motion content for product and learning use What we’re looking for ✅ Strong motion design and animation skills ✅ Ability to simplify technical or abstract concepts visually ✅ Experience creating clear storyboards and visual explanations ✅ Strong typography, composition and pacing ✅ Experience animating apps, digital products or interfaces ✅ Ability to work independently from a brief and iterate based on feedback Experience working with EdTech platforms, educational products, maths, STEM or interactive learning is a strong advantage. Arabic is also a plus, but not required. If you have not worked directly in EdTech, choose projects where you had to simplify or explain a complex idea visually. This will initially be project-based, with the potential for ongoing work if there is a strong fit.
