We are looking for a skilled video creator who can transform research papers into clear, engaging, and visually compelling YouTube Shorts. Scope of Work For each video, you will: - Review the research paper or selected sections - Identify the strongest insight or data point - Develop a concise script and visual concept - Create a vertical video suitable for YouTube Shorts - Use motion graphics, charts, icons, typography, stock footage, or other appropriate visual elements - Add captions and background music where appropriate - Revise the video based on feedback Video Requirements - Vertical format: 9:16 - Length: approximately 30 to 60 seconds - Clear narrative with a strong opening - Professional, modern visual style - Accurate representation of data and research findings Final delivery in high-resolution MP4 format This is not a role for simply cutting clips from existing videos. The freelancer must be able to interpret written research and translate it into an original short-form visual story. Ideal Candidate - Demonstrated experience creating YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or similar short-form videos - Strong motion graphics and video editing skills - Ability to simplify technical subjects without losing accuracy - Experience visualizing statistics and research findings Experience with research, energy, economics, sustainability, or public policy content is an advantage Preferred Tools Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, or equivalent professional video production tools.
