Native German Technical Proofreader/Editor – Industrial Gases & Chemistry

We are looking for a **native German technical proofreader/editor** to review **5 German articles** on a highly technical topic related to **industrial gases**. This is **not a translation or content writing project**. The articles are already written in German. We need an experienced proofreader/editor who can carefully review and correct them to ensure they meet a very high professional standard. ### Scope of work You will review 5 articles in total: * **1 article has already been reviewed by the client**, and we will provide both the article and the client’s feedback. This should be used as a reference to understand the level of quality and technical accuracy expected. * **4 additional articles have not yet been reviewed by the client.** These need to be thoroughly checked and corrected before delivery to ensure there are no similar issues. The review should focus on: 1. **Perfect German grammar and language** The content must read naturally and professionally to a native German speaker, with no grammatical, spelling, punctuation, or wording issues. 2. **Coherence and readability** The articles should be logically structured, clear, consistent, and easy to understand. Any awkward, unclear, repetitive, or unnatural sentences should be corrected. 3. **Technical accuracy and quality** This is extremely important. The articles cover technical subjects related to industrial gases, so the information and terminology must be accurate and appropriate for the industry. Any technically incorrect, misleading, unclear, or questionable statements should be corrected or flagged. We are therefore looking for someone with experience in **technical or scientific proofreading/editing**, ideally with knowledge of **chemistry, industrial gases, chemical engineering, manufacturing, or a related field**. We will provide all 5 articles, together with the client feedback received on the first one. **Deadline:** All 5 articles need to be fully reviewed and ready **this week**.
