Native Mandarin Chinese Voice Talent Needed - IVR/Call Center Speech Data Collection

Job Description We're building a large speech dataset to train and evaluate an AI voice assistant / IVR (phone menu) system for the Mandarin Chinese (zh-CN) market. We need native Mandarin Chinese speakers to record realistic, natural phone-call style conversations - both the "bot/agent" side and the "caller" side - following prompts we provide. This is not scripted narration or voice-over reading. You'll be reacting naturally to a prompt, the way a real caller would speak on the phone - including natural pauses, tone, and (for some samples) background noise or mild emotion. How each recording works Every sample is a pair of two human voices: Speaker A (Bot/IVR side): reads the system prompt naturally, e.g. "What is your date of birth?" Speaker B (Caller side): responds naturally and realistically, e.g. "March fifteenth, nineteen eighty-seven." Both sides must be real human voices - no text-to-speech, no synthetic audio. We're looking for people who can work in pairs (or rotate between both roles across sessions). Who we're looking for Native speaker of Mandarin Chinese, based in the China. Comfortable recording both short structured responses (numbers, dates, codes) and natural conversational speech Willing to work with a recording partner for two-speaker (bot + caller) sessions - we can help pair you with another contributor Access to a working microphone (phone or headset mic is acceptable; studio quality not required, but the recording should be clear) We're aiming for a broad mix of contributors across different ages (18-30, 30-55, 55+) and genders - older speakers are especially valuable, since digit/number recordings from older speakers are a priority for this project Comfortable following a provided prompt sheet exactly, including saying numbers/dates/currency the correct Arabic way Prior voice-over, transcription, or data-annotation experience is a plus, not required.
