Native Québec French Male-Female Pair Conversation Recording Project – Personal Use

I am looking for a male-female conversation pair, both native Québec French speakers who already know each other — for example, friends, partners, relatives, or colleagues — to record natural conversations. This project is strictly for personal use, to improve my listening comprehension of Québec French. It is not for advertising, commercial content, or public distribution. Having one male and one female speaker is an important requirement, as I need voice variety for my personal listening-comprehension training. I am not looking for professional voice actors or announcers. In fact, I want the opposite: I want to hear the way two Québec French speakers normally talk to each other when they are relaxed. The person applying must already have the second speaker available. I do not expect someone to accept the project and then have to find another participant. I need 12 spontaneous conversations of approximately 5–6 minutes each, for approximately 60–72 minutes of final audio. There will be 6 everyday topics, with 2 different conversations or situations for each topic: Problems and anecdotes at work Coworkers, bosses and everyday gossip Weekends and plans Partners, family and friends Personal problems and future decisions Money, prices, shopping and debts The conversations must be completely spontaneous, natural and very informal. No scripts. No reading. No teacher-style French. Do not slow down or pronounce things artificially more clearly because I am learning French. I want you to speak exactly as you normally would with each other when relaxed: at your normal, natural speed, using everyday Québec pronunciation, normal expressions, fillers, hesitations, interruptions and natural reactions. Please do not adapt your French to make it easier for a learner to understand. Do not articulate more clearly than usual, slow down, or change the way you normally pronounce words. The recordings can be made perfectly well using the standard voice recorder on a smartphone. I do not require professional microphones or studio-quality equipment. You can place the phone approximately 50 cm (20 inches) from the speakers, or in a similar position that allows both of you to sit comfortably and talk naturally. The phone does not need to be close to your mouth. The important thing is to record in a quiet place without significant background noise — for example, no television, loud music, heavy traffic, or other sounds that would make the voices difficult to hear. I do not need extremely clear or professional-sounding voices. I simply need to be able to hear and distinguish both speakers clearly enough while they are talking naturally. No transcription is required. Before completing the entire project, we will start with one paid 5–6 minute test conversation. If the speaking style and audio quality are suitable, we will continue with the remaining 11 conversations.
