Need Latin American Spanish proofreader for romance novels

I’m looking for a native speaker from Latin America (NOT from Spain) to proofread Latin American Spanish translations of my mafia romance novels produced by a new AI translation system. The output quality is high – I just want a human to do the final pass. I have eight novels ready to be proofread right now. The first book is 66,000 words. The other books range from 96,000 to 178,000 words, and the total of all eight books is just under 1 million words. I’m not looking for a “Is this a perfect translation from English?” proofread. I just want you to catch anything that would make a reader in Mexico or Central/South America go “Huh?” (Poor vocabulary choices, grammatical mistakes, sentences where an idiomatic Spanish phrase would work better, etc.) I'm not looking for a rewrite or a re-translation – a light touch is a good thing. Also, I don’t want the translation locked to a specific country like Mexico. I want the vocabulary to be easily understandable for readers throughout Latin America. One exception: the crude/sexual slang leans Mexican, because there's no neutral Latin American option. Everything else should be understandable everywhere. I’m looking for someone whose rate is 0.002-0.008 USD per word. I’m willing to pay more for someone with a history of proofreading romance novels (particularly dark romance) or with experience in neutral Latin American Spanish (español neutro) localization. One warning: the books are mafia romance and deal with dark romance themes. I will supply a Word .docx file. The file you give back to me needs to be a Word .docx with Track Changes enabled so I can see every edit.
