Network Auto Discovery Tool Development

We are looking for a highly experienced developer/network engineer who has previously designed and developed a full-scale Network Discovery and Network Topology solution. -- IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING-- We are ONLY interested in candidates who have already developed a production-level network discovery/topology product or a major network-discovery component of an NMS/network-management platform. Experience merely using tools such as Nmap, Zabbix, LibreNMS, PRTG, SolarWinds, NetBox, Netdisco, etc. is not sufficient. You should have hands-on development experience implementing discovery algorithms, SNMP-based discovery, topology correlation, Layer-2/Layer-3 relationship detection, device identification and topology generation. When applying, you must provide information about the network discovery system you previously developed, including: What you personally developed Approximate number of devices/networks it handled Discovery protocols and techniques used Types of topology it was capable of discovering Screenshots/demo/video where possible Technologies/languages used Explanation of the topology-discovery architecture Applications without relevant previous network-discovery development experience will not be considered. -Project Objective- we need to develop a solution that should automatically discover network devices, identify device types and relationships, and build Layer-2 and Layer-3 topology using SNMP, LLDP, CDP, ARP, MAC/FDB tables, routing information and other relevant techniques. It must support multi-vendor, multi-subnet, VLAN, redundant, ring, mesh, hierarchical and routed network environments and scale to thousands of devices.
