NovelCrafter Expert Needed to Set Up AI-Assisted Historical Fiction Series with Claude/OpenRouter Project Description I am looking for an experienced NovelCrafter user/consultant to help me properly configure NovelCrafter for a six-book historical fiction/time-travel series set during the American Civil War. This is NOT a ghostwriting position. I already have extensive planning and development completed, including: Series Master Bible Character Codex entries Historical research Codex entries Location Codex entries Medical and Civil War research Six-book story structure Book and chapter outlines Scene cards Custom scene-drafting prompt Claude connected to NovelCrafter through OpenRouter What I need is someone who knows NovelCrafter extremely well and can help me configure the system correctly and teach me how to use it efficiently. What I Need Help With I would like the consultant to work with me through live screen-sharing sessions and help me: Review and organize my existing NovelCrafter Codex. Make sure characters, locations, historical information, and other Codex entries are structured correctly. Properly configure NovelCrafter Prompts. Properly configure Presets and model settings. Review my existing custom scene-drafting prompt and make sure it is installed and configured correctly. Optimize my Claude/OpenRouter configuration for novel writing. Show me how to enter chapter outlines and scene cards into NovelCrafter. Show me how to associate the appropriate Codex entries with scenes. Demonstrate how NovelCrafter determines which Codex information is supplied to the AI. Configure and draft one actual scene from Book I with me so I understand the complete workflow. Establish a simple, repeatable process I can use to draft the remainder of the novel and subsequent books. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE You MUST have hands-on experience with NovelCrafter. Please do not apply solely because you have experience with ChatGPT, Claude, OpenRouter, Sudowrite, or other AI writing tools. I specifically want someone who has personally worked with: NovelCrafter NovelCrafter Codex NovelCrafter Prompts NovelCrafter Presets AI-assisted scene drafting Experience using Claude through OpenRouter with NovelCrafter is strongly preferred. How I Want to Work I do not want someone simply to configure everything for me and leave. I want to work together through live screen sharing so I understand where things go, what settings to use, why they are configured that way, and how to repeat the process myself. The ideal consultant should be comfortable saying: “Click here. Put this here. Select this model. Attach these Codex entries. Now generate the scene. Here is what NovelCrafter is sending to the AI and why.” Patience and the ability to explain NovelCrafter clearly are important. Initial Engagement I would like to begin with approximately 2–4 hours of consulting. If we work well together, there may be opportunities for additional consulting as I progress through the six-book series. Screening Questions 1. How long have you personally used NovelCrafter, and what types of projects have you created with it? 2. Describe how you use NovelCrafter's Codex when drafting a scene. How do you determine which Codex entries should be associated with or available to a scene? 3. Have you created or modified custom Prompts and Presets in NovelCrafter? Please give me an example of how you have used them. 4. Have you connected NovelCrafter to Claude through OpenRouter? If so, which Claude models have you used and how did you configure the workflow? 5. Are you comfortable working with me through live screen sharing and actually configuring one chapter/scene together while explaining each step?
