Nurse, Psychologist, or Psychiatrist Needed: Review Addiction Research Questions (Audio)

About this project We are conducting an academic-style research study. The study explores how people form emotional bonds with AI systems, and when this shifts from healthy engagement into problematic dependency with potential mental health risks. We are looking for a clinical professional (a practising nurse, psychologist, or psychiatrist with experience in gambling, internet, or other behavioral/process addictions) to review our research materials and share an independent professional opinion as a short audio recording (not a written report). What you'll receive: 1. An Introduction document (~7,000 words) covering the research background and topic. 2. A Participant Definition and Eligibility Criteria document. 3. A list of 11 Draft Questions for Expert Advisory Group review. What we need you to do (about 45-60 minutes total): 1. Read the Introduction and Participant Definition (20-30 minutes). No need to study every detail or reference, just get a general sense of the research, terminology, and the type of participants we plan to recruit. 2. Record a single audio file where you: - Read each of the 11 draft questions aloud and give a short, natural, conversational answer, as if we were discussing it together. - After all 11 questions, briefly share your opinion of the questions themselves: are they clear and useful? Anything repetitive or missing? Would you change, remove, or add anything? - Finally, share your general opinion of the project: your overall impression of the research and whether the topic feels useful or important; your thoughts on terms such as problematic AI use, emotional attachment, emotional reliance, dependency, and synthetic relationships (do they make sense, or would you change any of them); and anything else you think should be considered, changed, or added. 3. Send the audio file directly in the chat. We will handle the transcription ourselves, so you don't need to provide a written transcript. Important: - We want your own spontaneous, independent professional opinion, in your own words. Please do not use AI to prepare or generate your answers. - The recording can be informal and doesn't need to sound polished. - There are no right or wrong answers. - Your voice and name will not be published anywhere; this is for internal project evaluation only. Budget: fixed price, $30 for up to 1 hour of work.
