Role purpose Own the independent validation and control layer for a multi-entity Order-to-Cash implementation. Profile data, design reconciliation controls, plan and execute testing, classify defects, validate cutover results, and preserve production-readiness evidence. Work under the direction of the End-to-End O2C Program Architect and coordinate closely with Finance, Salesforce, IES, integration, implementation, operating, and end-user workstreams. Key responsibilities Profile Salesforce, QuickBooks Online, Intuit Enterprise Suite, connector, and migration data for duplicates, incomplete records, inconsistent mappings, credits, payments, and posting or conversion risks. Define data-quality rules, survivorship, matching, validation, control totals, and exception categories. Prepare cleanup and validation workbooks and document authorized client decisions. Execute or validate approved corrections within the managed implementation team. Create reconciliation workbooks for customers, items, invoices, credits, payments, entities, dimensions, periods, opening balances, and integration results. Define record-count, financial-total, subledger-to-ledger, source-to-target, and period-based controls. Test invoice creation, retry behavior, duplicate prevention, routing, payment status, cash application, reconciliation, reporting, and cutover scenarios. Coordinate system, integration, migration, UAT, regression, and cutover testing. Maintain a defect register and classify issues as true defects, data issues, configuration issues, provider issues, user/process issues, requirements gaps, or enhancements. Analyze data, logs, test results, and exceptions to isolate root causes. Define entry and exit criteria and support production-readiness decisions. Own the disposition and acceptance of material defects and reconciliation exceptions. Preserve scripts, evidence, test results, approvals, and readiness records. Support cutover, stabilization, handoff, SOP review, and training. Escalate blockers and unresolved risks. Success in the role Data is reliable and reconciles across systems, test evidence supports production readiness, defects are correctly classified and resolved, and no critical issue blocks production. Preferred background Meaningful hands-on experience in: CRM, accounting, or ERP data quality Deduplication, matching, survivorship, and exception rules Reconciliation, including subledger-to-general-ledger controls Migration validation and source-to-target comparison SQL and data analysis Advanced Excel, Power Query, and/or Power Pivot Test planning, integration testing, migration testing, UAT, and regression Defect management and root-cause analysis Cutover readiness and production stabilization Salesforce, QuickBooks, Intuit Enterprise Suite, or comparable ERP systems General QA or training experience without strong reconciliation and data-analysis capability is not sufficient. Screening questions Describe a project in which you led data quality, reconciliation, and testing across a CRM and accounting or ERP system. How did you design cross-system reconciliations, including control counts, financial totals, and exception categories? How did you prove that customers, invoices, credits, payments, entities, dimensions, and periods migrated correctly? Describe a defect that initially appeared to be an integration or configuration issue but was actually caused by data, provider behavior, requirements, or user process. How did you prove the cause? Which tools did you use for SQL, data comparison, reconciliation, test management, and defect tracking? What production-readiness criteria did you apply to a financial-system integration or migration?
