Ongoing Short-Form Video Editor for Swiss Luxury Watch Brand — 4 Videos Monthly

Swiss Watch Makers is seeking an experienced short-form video editor and content creator for an ongoing monthly engagement. We specialize in restoring, repairing, and refinishing fine Swiss watches. Our business is led by master watchmaker Patrick Desbiolles, who has more than 25 years of experience. Our team will provide workshop footage, watch footage, photographs, and information about each project. The freelancer will turn these materials into polished videos suitable for Instagram Reels and other short-form platforms. The monthly engagement will include: - Four finished short-form videos per month - One video delivered each week - Creative concepts and opening hooks - Editing of footage provided by our team - Text overlays and on-screen captions - Music and sound design - Color correction and visual cleanup - Formatting for Instagram Reels - Up to two reasonable revision rounds per video - Recommendations for footage our team should capture Potential Content Videos may feature: - Before-and-after watch transformations - Restoration and refinishing processes - Close-ups of watch movements and components - Polishing, cleaning, assembly, and repair - Patrick’s watchmaking expertise - Rare, vintage, and luxury watches - Educational watchmaking content - Customer watch reveals - Behind-the-scenes workshop footage Creative Direction The content should feel: - Premium and sophisticated - Authentic and craftsmanship-focused - Visually satisfying - Personal and story-driven - Educational but entertaining - Modern enough for social media without looking overly trendy or inexpensive Ideal Freelancer We’re looking for someone who: - Has a strong existing short-form video portfolio - Understands hooks, pacing, retention, and visual storytelling - Has excellent typography, music, and sound-design instincts - Can make detailed technical work interesting to a wider audience - Can contribute creative ideas instead of only following instructions - Communicates reliably and can maintain a weekly delivery schedule Experience with watches, jewelry, restoration, craftsmanship, automotive, luxury goods, or premium lifestyle brands is preferred. Compensation This is a fully paid engagement conducted through Upwork. Please provide your proposed monthly rate for four completed videos. All requested work, including the first contracted video and any revisions included in the agreed scope, will be paid according to the Upwork contract. We will not request unpaid samples, custom auditions, contest entries, or work performed outside an active Upwork contract. How to Apply Please include: 1. A brief introduction 2. The selected freelancer will be hired and compensated through an Upwork contract. We may begin with one fully paid video milestone before proceeding to a continuing monthly contract for four videos.
