Online Fitness & Nutrition Coach – Remote / Backend Coaching
Worldwide
We are looking for an experienced and highly proactive Online Fitness & Nutrition Coach to join our coaching team in a backend coaching role. This is NOT a general Virtual Assistant position. We are specifically looking for someone who already understands strength training, resistance training, nutrition, fat loss and muscle building and wants to build a long-term career working inside an established online fitness coaching business. What you'll be doing You will work behind the scenes alongside our Australian coaching team to help deliver an exceptional coaching experience to our clients. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing client weekly check-ins and progress data Writing personalised client check-in responses in excellent English Responding to client questions and messages Reviewing exercise technique/form videos and providing feedback Monitoring training performance, adherence, nutrition and client progress Implementing approved training and nutrition adjustments Updating programs, nutrition targets and client information inside our coaching software Following our established coaching systems, processes and SOPs Identifying clients who may be struggling, disengaging or at risk and escalating them to a senior coach Keeping accurate notes so the wider coaching team always understands each client's situation You will not initially be expected to independently make every advanced coaching decision. Our senior coaches will provide direction where required. Your job is to understand that direction, execute it accurately, communicate exceptionally well with clients, and progressively become capable of handling more responsibility. Who we're looking for We care much more about finding a real fitness person who can coach than finding a generic VA who happens to have worked for a fitness company. You should: Personally train consistently and genuinely love fitness Be in excellent physical condition yourself Have a strong understanding of resistance training, hypertrophy, fat loss and nutrition Ideally have a bodybuilding, physique or serious strength-training background Have previous experience as a Personal Trainer, Online Coach, Nutrition Coach or similar Hold a recognised fitness/personal-training qualification A bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Sports Science, Nutrition or a related field is highly regarded Have excellent written and spoken English Be able to communicate warmly, clearly and professionally with Australian clients Be extremely organised and accurate Learn new systems quickly Be comfortable receiving feedback and implementing it immediately Be proactive rather than waiting to be told what to do Be confident using online software and learning new technology The person who will thrive here We want someone who sees a client check-in and thinks like a coach. You notice problems. You understand context. You ask intelligent questions when something doesn't make sense. You learn a process once and don't need someone standing over your shoulder every time you repeat it. Most importantly, you genuinely care whether the client succeeds — even though you aren't the public face of the business. How our coaching team works Our Australian coaches remain responsible for key client-facing interactions and higher-level coaching decisions. You'll work behind the scenes handling much of the ongoing written coaching, client communication, form review, program implementation and day-to-day delivery. We also operate an internal client monitoring system. If a client's adherence, engagement, results or satisfaction begins declining, you'll flag them so a senior coach can personally intervene. This position therefore requires judgement, not just task completion. Requirements Please only apply if you have genuine training and nutrition knowledge. When applying, include: Your fitness/coaching qualifications Your previous coaching experience Your personal training background What your own current training looks like Your experience with nutrition and tracking macros/calories Any online coaching software you've previously used Your current availability and desired weekly hours Important: Start your application with the words “COACH FIRST” so we know you've read the entire job description. We are looking for someone interested in becoming a long-term member of the coaching team, not someone looking for random VA work.
