Summary

We are looking for an experienced Physics teacher to teach online classes for Grade 11 and Grade 12 students following the Canadian curriculum, primarily the Ontario curriculum. The ideal candidate should be able to explain difficult Physics concepts clearly, guide students through problems step by step, and prepare them for school assessments and final exams. Responsibilities: Teach Grade 11 and Grade 12 Physics online Follow the Canadian high school curriculum, particularly Ontario SPH3U and SPH4U Prepare structured lessons based on each student’s academic needs Explain formulas, calculations and concepts using clear examples Help students with schoolwork, tests and exam preparation Assign and review classwork and homework Track student progress and provide regular feedback Maintain a professional and reliable teaching schedule Topics may include: Kinematics Forces and dynamics Work, energy and momentum Gravitational, electric and magnetic fields Waves, sound and light Electricity and circuits Modern physics Grade 11 and Grade 12 exam preparation Requirements: Degree in Physics, Engineering, Education or a related field Strong knowledge of Grade 11 and Grade 12 Physics Experience teaching the Canadian or Ontario curriculum is strongly preferred Previous high school teaching or tutoring experience Excellent spoken and written English Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner Experience using Zoom, digital whiteboards and online teaching tools Stable internet connection, clear microphone and quiet teaching environment Organized, dependable and punctual Available to teach during Canadian Eastern Time, primarily evenings and weekends To Apply, Please Include: Your educational qualifications Your Grade 11 and Grade 12 Physics teaching experience Your experience with the Canadian or Ontario curriculum Your availability in Eastern Time Your expected hourly rate A short introductory video explaining a Physics concept Details about your online teaching setup This is a long-term online teaching opportunity for the right candidate.
