Operations Manager

We're a small, fast-moving AI and narrative intelligence company running campaigns for fintech, trading and government clients. PR, social, UGC, creator seeding — most of it executed through a network of external agencies, creator networks and freelancers. Right now delivery lives in the founders' heads. That's the bottleneck. We're hiring one person to become the operating spine of the business: the person who knows the status of every workstream, every day, and who chases the people who owe us things so the founders don't have to. This is a long-term, full-time engagement. Remote, anywhere in the world. What you'll own The master delivery calendar. Every live client engagement broken into deliverables, owners and dates. You know what's late, what's at risk, and who's blocking it — before anyone asks. External partners. The bulk of the job. Briefing UGC agencies, seeding networks, creators and PR partners, then holding the line on quality and timing. You'll be managing people who don't report to you. A daily written report to the founders. Fixed format, same time every day: what moved, what's blocked and who's blocking it, what needs a founder decision. Short and sharp. If we have to ask "where are we on X," the report hasn't done its job. Process. You own our project systems (GoHighLevel, Assembly, trackers). Anything we run twice should be running off a checklist by the third time. Quality control. Last set of eyes before anything reaches a client. We have strict house rules on language and formatting in client-facing material, and you'll enforce them. Client health. Spotting the account going quiet or the deliverable that's slipped twice, and flagging it early. You're probably a fit if You've spent 3+ years running delivery in an agency, production company, or somewhere with a lot of external suppliers You've managed vendors you had no authority over and still got things delivered on time You're obsessive about detail without needing to be told what to be detailed about You write clearly and briefly under pressure You're comfortable telling someone senior that they're late You can operate on half a brief.
