Operations & Project Manager - Part-Time, Remote
Worldwide
OxyDial is a biomedical technology company developing scientific instrumentation for hemoglobin testing. We are looking for a hands-on Operations & Project Manager for a long-term, part-time role. You will coordinate day-to-day operations and projects across our distributed international team. This role combines company operations, project management, vendor and procurement work, customer support, and coordination of a small software team. What You Will Do * Manage operations and projects - organize priorities and tasks coming from different executives, define owners and deadlines, track progress and blockers, and drive tasks to completion. * Manage vendors and procurement - communicate with suppliers and contractors, request quotes, negotiate pricing, track orders, components, PCB BOMs, supplies, lead times, and deliveries. * Coordinate product operations - track device assembly, inventory, chemical assay production, supplies, logistics, and capacity for upcoming projects. * Coordinate software development - manage priorities, backlog, support issues, releases, and progress with a small software team. No software engineering knowledge is required. * Handle customer support - understand reported problems, perform basic troubleshooting, involve the right technical person when needed, and follow issues through resolution. * Support general operations - coordinate shipments, international deliveries, contractors, travel, documentation, and other day-to-day operational needs. Maintain clear internal documentation and improve processes where needed. Who We Are Looking For * 3+ years of experience in Operations, Project Management, Business Operations, or a related role. * Hands-on experience with real-world business operations involving vendors, procurement, contractors, inventory, logistics, physical products, equipment, manufacturing, laboratory operations, or similar areas. * Experience coordinating multiple projects, people, and priorities independently. * Experience working with engineers, software developers, or other technical teams. * Strong professional English (B2+ minimum) and confidence communicating directly with vendors, contractors, customers, and an international team. * Strong ownership, structured thinking, attention to detail, and ability to drive tasks to completion without constant supervision. * Emotional maturity and ability to work effectively in a small startup with changing priorities. Important This is NOT a traditional Software Project Manager position. We are not looking for someone whose experience is primarily software development, Scrum, Agile processes, and Jira. We need someone with hands-on experience in real business operations beyond the software world. Part-time | Fully remote | Long-term Working hours: availability required within 9 AM-6 PM EST
