Oracle ERP data conversion lead

# Oracle Fusion Data Conversion & Data Cleansing SME – Finance / P2P / R2R ## Project Overview I am looking for an experienced **Oracle Fusion Data Conversion / Data Migration SME** who can provide hands-on advisory and working-session support for a large **Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP transformation**. I am working on the **client side as a Data Conversion / Data Cleansing Lead**, coordinating with a System Integrator (SI) that is responsible for the actual extraction, transformation, conversion development, and loading. I am **not looking for a developer to build conversion programs**. I need someone who has been through large Oracle ERP migration programs and can help me review conversion designs, identify dependencies and risks, coordinate data readiness/cleansing activities, and prepare for mock conversions, SIT, UAT, and cutover. ## Primary Areas The program includes Oracle Financials and Procurement, particularly: * Record to Report (R2R) * Procure to Pay (P2P) * General Ledger (GL) * Accounts Payable (AP) * Accounts Receivable (AR) * Fixed Assets (FA) * Cash Management (CM) * Projects / Project Costs * Suppliers, Supplier Sites and Supplier Bank Accounts * Purchase Orders and related transactional data * Other Finance and Procurement conversion objects There are also **non-EBS/boundary source systems**, so experience coordinating data extracts and dependencies with systems such as Workday, Concur, banks, 3PL applications, PLM, etc. would be valuable. ## What I Need Help With I need someone who can work with me on activities such as: * Reviewing Oracle Fusion conversion FDDs/TDDs from a **data conversion lead perspective** * Understanding exactly what data is being converted for each object * Reviewing source-to-target mappings and transformation requirements * Identifying prerequisites and **cross-object dependencies** * Understanding conversion sequencing * Identifying dependencies on configuration/reference data such as Legal Entities, Business Units, Ledgers, COA, Projects, Suppliers, Employees, Banks/Branches, etc. * Reviewing extraction and selection criteria * Identifying data quality and cleansing requirements * Helping distinguish **master data vs. transactional data cleansing** * Developing practical data cleansing rules/checks with business teams * Supporting data profiling and identifying potential conversion issues early * Reviewing reconciliation and validation requirements * Preparing for **Mock 0 / Mock 1 / Mock 2 / Mock 3 conversion cycles** * Understanding what should be ready before each mock * Supporting SIT/UAT data readiness * Tracking dependencies on boundary/source systems and their extract readiness * Helping with cutover planning, data freeze considerations, delta/final extracts, reconciliation, and sign-off * Identifying risks or questions that should be raised with the System Integrator or business process owners ## Ideal Candidate I am specifically looking for someone who has: * Strong experience with **Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP data migration/conversion** * Approximately 8+ years of relevant Oracle ERP experience preferred * Experience as a **Data Conversion Lead, Data Migration Lead, Functional Data Lead, or client-side conversion SME** * Strong Oracle Financials knowledge * Good understanding of R2R and P2P data objects * Experience with multiple mock conversion cycles and production cutover * Experience reviewing FDDs/TDDs and source-to-target mapping documents * Strong understanding of FBDI-based Oracle Fusion conversions * Experience with data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, validation, and conversion sign-off * Ability to understand dependencies across Finance, Procurement and upstream/downstream systems * Ability to explain complex conversion topics practically and clearly Experience with **Power Apps-based cleansing trackers/dashboards, Jira, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or enterprise data migration tools** is a plus, but not mandatory. ## Important This is **not primarily a development role**. The System Integrator already handles the technical conversion development and loads. I need an experienced person who can work alongside me as an SME/advisor and help me understand: **What needs to happen, what needs to be ready, what can block a conversion, what questions I should ask, what dependencies I should track, and what risks I should identify before each conversion cycle.** I prefer someone who has actually worked on a **large enterprise Oracle EBS → Fusion migration** rather than someone whose experience is limited to Oracle Fusion implementation/configuration. ## Working Arrangement This will initially be **part-time / hourly consulting support**, with regular working sessions as required. India-based consultants are preferred because of timezone flexibility, although strong candidates from other locations are welcome. When applying, please briefly answer: 1.
