PDF/OCR Specialist Needed

We have an approximately 400-page product catalogue in PDF format. The catalogue appears to have been created from exported/flattened images, so the existing content is not directly editable. We need an experienced PDF/OCR/document production specialist to help us make targeted updates while preserving the existing design and quality. What needs to be done We will be adding new products at specific locations within the catalogue. This will cause the existing page numbering to shift throughout the document. For example, if new pages are inserted around page 21, all subsequent printed page numbers need to be updated accordingly. The page numbers are currently embedded directly into the page artwork/image, so they cannot simply be edited as normal PDF text. The work may involve: OCR processing of the existing PDF Inserting new product pages Updating/replacing hard-coded page numbers Maintaining consistent formatting and positioning Identifying and updating relevant page references in the catalogue Checking the table of contents/index or other cross-references where applicable Producing a clean, print-ready final PDF Ensuring the final document remains high quality and visually consistent with the original Important We do NOT necessarily want the entire 400-page catalogue recreated from scratch. Our preference is to preserve the existing pages and only rebuild/edit the sections that actually need modification. We are looking for someone who can recommend the most efficient technical approach rather than simply converting every page into editable artwork.
