## PHP & JavaScript Developer Needed for Custom Plugin & API Integration We are looking for an experienced **PHP and JavaScript developer** to build a custom plugin that will integrate an external website/service through its APIs. The project involves developing a reliable integration between our website and a third-party platform. The technical requirements and details of the external website/API will be explained in more detail during the interview. ### What you will do * Develop a custom plugin using **PHP and JavaScript**. * Integrate the plugin with an external website through its available APIs. * Work with REST APIs, authentication, requests, responses and data processing. * Implement the required logic to synchronize and/or exchange data between both systems. * Handle API errors, validation and edge cases properly. * Ensure the plugin is secure, maintainable and well structured. * Test the integration and troubleshoot any issues. * Provide clear documentation for the implementation. ### Requirements You should have strong experience with: * PHP * JavaScript * REST APIs * API authentication and integrations * JSON * HTTP requests * Webhooks/API callbacks * Plugin development * Debugging and troubleshooting * Git/version control Experience with **WordPress plugin development** is highly preferred, especially if you have developed custom plugins that communicate with external APIs. ### Important This is **not simply a basic WordPress plugin project**. The main challenge is the integration with an external platform and implementing the required communication between both systems.
