Packaging & Brand Identity Designer - Supplement

Brand Identity + Packaging Designer - Sleep Supplement Gummy (Slumber Cubes) I'm building Slumber Cubes as a standalone DTC sleep supplement brand (under parent company Velusent) and need a designer who understands the supplement and wellness category deeply - not just someone who can make something pretty. The product: Melatonin-free sleep gummy in a cube format 60 gummies per pouch (30 servings), Strawberry / Mixed Berry 9 active ingredients: Magnesium Bisglycinate, Ashwagandha KSM-66, L-Theanine, Valerian Root, Chamomile, Passionflower, Lemon Balm, 5-HTP, Vitamin B6 P5P Certifications: Melatonin-Free (hero), Sugar-Free, Non-GMO, Vegan, Gluten-Free, Halal Website: slumbercubes.com The category problem to solve: The sleep gummy category is saturated with navy blue, moons, stars, and generic "calm/restful/natural" positioning. I need design that earns attention against that backdrop. The melatonin-free angle is our primary differentiator and must be visually prominent. Deliverables: Logo - multiple refined variations of the existing concept (rounded, bouncy wordmark + smile device, more prominent and playful) PLUS 2-3 entirely new concept directions Custom certification iconography (not stock - designed to match brand character) Front pouch design - DTC and paid social optimised, legible at scroll speed Back pouch design - ingredient grid, certifications, net weight, website, directions Brand style tile (colours, typography, icon system) Print-ready files + editable source files (AI) Visual direction to explore: Deep rich purple (violet/indigo register, not lavender) with high-contrast white typography Playful, bouncy wordmark with hand-crafted personality - not clinical Cube motif integrated naturally, not forced Matte black as a grounding element Indie wellness aesthetic - personality and trust over generic polish This packaging must work in: DTC ecommerce (Shopify) at launch Paid social ad creative (Snapchat and Meta) Future retail shelf placement Ideal candidate: Portfolio showing supplement, wellness, or FMCG packaging - specifically DTC brands, not just pharmacy/clinical Has designed for performance marketing environments (understands that the pack is also ad creative) Can present a clear concept rationale, not just visuals Adobe Illustrator and print production experience essential Fixed price preferred, structured with milestones. Please include 2-3 specific portfolio examples of supplement or wellness packaging in your proposal and briefly describe the brand problem each one solved.
