Packaging Designer / Production Artist

We are looking for an experienced Packaging Designer / Adobe Illustrator Production Artist to take an established packaging concept and turn it into the final production-ready retail packaging for a new consumer product. Deadline: Friday, August 14, 2026 This is not a from-scratch branding project. The overall packaging concept, branding, product positioning and visual direction have already been established. We need an experienced packaging designer who can quickly refine the existing concept, apply it professionally to the supplied factory dieline, and deliver polished, factory-ready artwork. We Will Provide Factory-supplied dieline Existing packaging concept/mockups Product renders logo assets branding/type direction QR code GTIN/barcode information Product specifications Existing visual/brand direction Scope Using the existing concept as the creative foundation: Refine typography, spacing, alignment and visual hierarchy where necessary Maintain the established SoloPipe/Ripper branding Properly build all panels on the supplied dieline Ensure the package looks polished when folded Prepare all artwork to professional commercial-print standards Identify any obvious production or readability problems before finalizing We are looking for refinement and execution. Final Deliverables Fully editable Adobe Illustrator .AI master Factory-ready print PDF Vector SVG/EPS files for applicable graphics Proper CMYK color setup Correct bleed, trim and safe areas Dieline on a separate clearly identified/non-printing layer Fonts outlined in final production file Editable version with live text where practical Embedded or properly linked high-resolution imagery Minimum 300 DPI raster artwork QR code and barcode maintained at proper print quality and dimensions Clean, clearly labeled Illustrator layers Final artwork suitable for direct submission to the manufacturer One round of minor revisions following factory prepress review should be included. Required Experience You must have professional experience with: Consumer retail packaging Folding cartons Adobe Illustrator Factory/manufacturer dielines Print production and prepress CMYK and spot colors Bleed, trim and safe areas Vector artwork Preparing final packaging files for commercial manufacturing Actual packaging-production experience is essential. Deadline Final production artwork must be completed by Friday, August 14. We are hiring immediately and need someone who can begin right away.
