Part Time Accountant

Part-Time Accountant // Digital Marketing Agency We're a growing digital marketing agency looking for a part-time accountant to start with a full review and audit of our existing books. You'll assess the accuracy of our current bookkeeping, evaluate our chart of accounts, review how we handle revenue recognition for retainers and pass-through ad spend, confirm our accounts are properly reconciled, and flag anything that creates tax or compliance risk. The goal is a clear written summary of what's working, what isn't, and what we should fix before we make key financial reporting decisions. From there, we're open to ongoing monthly support close, reconciliations, financial statements, and light cash flow reporting. We're looking for someone with 3+ years of experience as an accountant, ideally with US-based companies. Experience with service-based or agency businesses is a plus, as is comfort working independently and explaining financial findings to non-accountants.
