Part-Time B2B Cold Caller / Appointment Setter – U.S. Education Market
Worldwide
We are an established education technology company looking for an experienced, confident English-speaking cold caller / appointment setter to help us arrange meetings with decision-makers in U.S. school districts. We provide websites, mobile apps and digital student enrollment solutions to schools and school districts and are currently expanding our presence across the U.S. ### The Role Your main responsibility will be to make outbound calls to U.S. school districts and secure qualified meetings with relevant decision-makers, including: * Superintendents * Communications / PR Directors * Technology Directors / CIOs * Enrollment and administrative leaders We will provide the prospect lists, contact information, product training and calling scripts/talking points. This is primarily a telephone outreach and appointment-setting role rather than a lead-generation/research position. You will also be expected to keep clear notes on calls, identify follow-up opportunities and help ensure interested prospects progress to a meeting. Initial Trial & Compensation We will begin with a three-week paid trial of approximately 10 hours per week Hourly rate:** $7–$10/hour depending on experience. In addition to the hourly rate, we offer: $40 bonus for each qualified meeting you originate that actually takes place with an appropriate school district decision-maker. TBC% commission on first-year revenue from any new customer resulting directly from a prospect you originate. There is meaningful additional earning potential for a successful caller. If the initial trial is successful, we would be interested in continuing the relationship and potentially increasing the number of hours. Who We're Looking For You should have previous experience in B2B cold calling, outbound sales or appointment setting, ideally calling U.S. businesses or organizations. Excellent spoken English and a strong telephone manner are essential. We're looking for someone who sounds friendly, confident, professional and conversational, rather than someone who simply reads from a script. Previous experience with education, EdTech, SaaS, government, healthcare or other professional/public-sector organizations would be an advantage but is not essential. You must be comfortable working during U.S. business/school hours. Applicants with previous experience calling U.S. organizations are particularly encouraged to apply. When applying, please briefly describe your cold-calling experience and, if possible, include a 30–60 second English voice recording introducing yourself. Spoken communication will be an important part of our selection process. This is initially a small, focused campaign, but for the right person there is potential for regular ongoing work.
