Part-Time Billing & Collections Specialist (Ongoing)

I'm looking for a reliable billing person to take over client invoicing and collections for a digital marketing / ecommerce agency. This is not sales and not account management. Your job is that invoices go out clean, on time, and that every one of them gets paid. What you'll do - Publish monthly invoices from our billing portal (you enter revenue, the system calculates the amount) - Text clients a heads-up the day before, then the amount on the due date - Follow up on late invoices on a set schedule - Record payments when they land - Flag anything that needs the owner (disputes, payment pushback, legal) Schedule - Eastern Time. Publish after 10:30am ET. Message clients around noon ET. - Reachable through the afternoon ET on days invoices are due - No fixed hours. Most weeks this is about an hour a day. I care about the result, not hours logged. Pay - $25 per active client, per month - About 30 clients right now, so roughly $750/month - Pay goes up when we add clients, down if one leaves - You invoice me each cycle. No timesheets. Who this is for - Extremely detail-oriented. One missed note can swing an invoice by thousands. - Comfortable texting clients about money in a short, warm, human way - Follows a written process instead of freelancing it - Available on US Eastern Time afternoons - US or Canada preferred (most client texting is US/Canada) This is an ongoing monthly role, not a one-off project.
